I preordered my Iphone on Friday and they just email me now saying they were unable to process my order on Tuesday night.. seriously?

They won't deliver on the weekend, no. And I don't think it's your credit card, because that would mean that the rest of us have credit card issues as well then -- we're all seemingly stuck at 'preparing for shipment'!

It's the same for everyone. If there was a credit card problem the would have emailed you by now. My card hasn't been charged but my available funds is low because they are holding the amount until they ship.

As far as I know, there won't be any shipping on the weekend.

I have to phone them about the CC so if I have to wait until October now instead of this Friday I won't be very happy considering it took them 5 days to tell me..

LOL!!! Our phones are definitely traveling together. Theyre probably enjoying some Tim Hortons along the way.

Oh damn, I'm still hopeful we get an early call for the pick-up. Oh well, at least they're on their way!

My two Rogers reservation phones have been shipped today via UPS and are being shipped by "UPS Saver" - on the website it says "UPS EXPRSS SAVER" ... i guess it's the same thing... it says 1 business day and arrives before 12:00 PM . (At the Rogers store)
 
I'm worried that priority was given to carrier orders and Apple orders are likely to be delayed...which explains why the carriers all offered guarantees or $50 credit....
 
I wonder how well the new HD voice works. Rogers will hopefully get it soon. I don't really want to switch as my plan is decent and they have way better LTE coverage in Ottawa and Victoria.
 
Yes, unfortunately it is looking like carriers got preference over apple.ca orders! Fido continues to text and email me everyday offering me to reserve one and if I don't get it on time they will give a 50 dollar credit. Also my buddies that ordered through their carriers are getting tracking information and those of us that ordered unlocked through apple are left in the dark still with only two days until release!

Did you get this directly from Bell? I went to a Bell store in Kingston and asked about getting a nano sim - they didn't seem to know much, but he said they had 250 nano sims in stock, but not that many iPhones... but I would have to come back Friday to get one. Said it would cost 'at least' $20 to activate the SIM and it would have to be done in store. He said he couldn't do it today because they need to register the serial number of the new iPhone.
