If you read email from fido yesterday, you can see that the package can be send to the warehouse before to go to the store.
There is 31 packages in my shipment... I don't think all will be for the little fido store where I reserved mine.

Moreover, you have to wait the seller call you.

Re-read the email and it clearly states the phone is shipped directly to the Fido store. Also, when I track the package it says the shipment contains two packages (iPhone and Nano-SIM?).

As soon as I see the package delivered on the UPS website I'll try my luck and go to the Fido store..Worst case scenario they'll turn me around and ask that I go back on Friday..

The hold on my credit card is gone this morning and so now I dont even know if my order got canceled or

Mastercard?

I ordered 2 with mastercard in which the same thing happened and the one I ordered with visa got charged. Maybe just a different way to handle things by each company.

My credit was charged yesterday but my order status still shows preparing for shipping. Did anyone also get charged?

iPhone 5 deliveryZen

Hello fellow Canadian iPhone 5 Hopefuls,

I follow the relevant forums on Apple, here and others regarding the iPhone 5 delivery saga and I too have ordered an iPhone 5 (directly from apple.ca, got confirmation email at 3.14am ET) and tried to track it with no result (Apple Status still preparing for shipment) and think that Steve himself still wants to teach us a bit of Zen while waiting?!

And yes, I too would love to know where my iPhone 5 is and if I receive it in 48hrs but on the other hand think I could be a bit more relaxed about it - after all it is just a piece of technology (I am really looking forward to get my hands on) and sometimes (only sometimes) I am really concerned about my First-World-problems :)

So may you all have an enjoyable Friday and until then 48 relaxed hours!

Greetings from Toronto,

Chris

I ordered some cables separately that shipped from a factory in China yesterday morning. This morning they are out for delivery to my house in Toronto. My phone is still preparing for shipment. I suspect it will ship this evening for Friday delivery. Stay tuned.......

more then likely all our phone are sitting in a Apple Warehouse somewhere and they are just waiting to break down the skids and release the tracking numbers

For any other frustrated Telus preorder members out there, I spoke to a representative in store downtown Toronto and was told that as long as you ordered before 5pm on the 14th you should be receiving your phone on Friday.

WOOT!!!! Great to hear. Ordered mine a little after 3:30PM on the 14th. So I should be fine.

My 32GB iPhone 4 has been acting up for the past few weeks. So my 64GB black iPhone 5 can't come soon enough.

Hopefully this is the case. I don't see it coming from China and arriving by Friday at this point unless it's delivered without any stops.

Don't worry it will. They'll ship either this evening or Thursday morning and you'll still get it by Friday. Just like last year.

Incredible, I've been following this thread along with the Pre Order one and nobody has tracking numbers or anything remotly (only som US customers have tracking by reference).

Most likely that everything will happen in the next 48 hours. lets all stay tuned.

Perhaps Apple did this (not mark orders as shipped) to avoid a surge in calls from customers calling them asking why their package is not moving. This is actually having the opposite effect, where everyone is asking why it hasn't shipped.

Since everyone is in the same shoes, I'm not too concerned.. Pretty much all Apple.com orders around the world are still in preparing for shipment status.
