Mine says 25th too. Hopefully that's a worst case Ontario.
Mine says shipped too. Delivery date says the 25th. Crap.
Still nothing from Telus with regards to a tracking number. Had my confirmation e-mail about 6 minutes after the ordering opened last Friday, black 64GB model. But I did see finally that the credit card payment went through, backdated to the 14th. Not sure if that's an issue with Telus or my bank, though.
Still hoping for tomorrow (going to work from home), but I won't be hugely suprised if it doesn't show up till next week.

I'm not too worried about receiving the phone tommorow. More worried about a Rogers Nano Sim that those crooks won't release until Friday. I hate you Rogers! Sooooo MUCH! Any logical person would say just sell it throughout the week to people whom have the iphone 5 shipped just to prevent unnecessary waiting. Then again, they don't care about customer service.![]()
The Micro sim can be cut down, I googled it a couple of days ago, My sim is ready, I'm pretty optimistic it will work. The back of the Sim may have to be sanded a bit, but thats pretty simple.
25th is the end of the range for all of Canada. They aren't going to customize the email to your delivery zone. If you live in zone 1, expect it tomorrow by end of day.
I was going to go for that, but decided not to risk anything with the nano-SIM port. Dropped the $5 for a real one to be safe.
I was told by Telus weborders that they're sending tracking numbers out tomorrow morning when its been shipped. I was in the same frustration level you were until someone pointed out to read the @telussupport twitter. They're publicly confirming to the masses that if you ordered before 4pm PST it'll arrive by tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
I'm a shift worker and can't find anyone to cover me. Taking a sick day isn't an option because i'm a manager. Guess its hoping that I can get to Purolator before they close for the weekend.

I work in front of a computer all day, and all of it on a VM that I remote into anyway. So working from home isn't a big deal.
My only beef with the Telus process is the lack of communication, assuming the phone shows up about when it should. That seems like an iPhone launch issue in general, though.
But considering when I bought my iPhone4, I had to call multiple independent vendors here in town, and still didn't get one for a month or so anyway, I guess this is an improvement...
And what do you mean, managers can't get sick?

Of course they're going to customize the email. It has the order number; tracking number; your name and address customized. Why would the delivery date be generic?
