Mine says shipped too. Delivery date says the 25th. Crap.

Ordered literally minutes after they went on sale and just got a ship date of the 25th... Hoping it comes on Friday but I wont be surprised now if it does not.

Still nothing from Telus with regards to a tracking number. Had my confirmation e-mail about 6 minutes after the ordering opened last Friday, black 64GB model. But I did see finally that the credit card payment went through, backdated to the 14th. Not sure if that's an issue with Telus or my bank, though.

Still hoping for tomorrow (going to work from home), but I won't be hugely suprised if it doesn't show up till next week.

Underpromise, overdeliver guys...

Then again, Apple did **** it up with my 4S last year. Ordered within minutes, got it on the Monday. Better not happen again. Seeing as Express Saver is being used, I'm less worried about it this time.

25th is the end of the range for all of Canada. They aren't going to customize the email to your delivery zone. If you live in zone 1, expect it tomorrow by end of day.

Apple is saying the 25th to be on the safe side. My email said a label has been created, I have received these emails before for other Apple products, if you check tomorrow morning, it will probably say on vehicle for delivery. They always arrive earlier than what Apple say.

I'm not too worried about receiving the phone tommorow. More worried about a Rogers Nano Sim that those crooks won't release until Friday. I hate you Rogers! Sooooo MUCH! Any logical person would say just sell it throughout the week to people whom have the iphone 5 shipped just to prevent unnecessary waiting. Then again, they don't care about customer service. :(

Glad to hear some of the pre-orders are finally coming through.

Has anyone heard anything re: Telus pre-order shipping status? Ordered before the cutoff for delivery on the 21st, but still no tracking or shipping info in my email.

I was told by Telus weborders that they're sending tracking numbers out tomorrow morning when its been shipped. I was in the same frustration level you were until someone pointed out to read the @telussupport twitter. They're publicly confirming to the masses that if you ordered before 4pm PST it'll arrive by tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

I'm a shift worker and can't find anyone to cover me. Taking a sick day isn't an option because i'm a manager. Guess its hoping that I can get to Purolator before they close for the weekend.

The Micro sim can be cut down, I googled it a couple of days ago, My sim is ready, I'm pretty optimistic it will work. The back of the Sim may have to be sanded a bit, but thats pretty simple.

I've had my nano sim since Saturday, you can definitely find them from the other smaller mobile retailers.

I was going to go for that, but decided not to risk anything with the nano-SIM port. Dropped the $5 for a real one to be safe.

I bought one at "T Booth" (La cabine) for 10$ +tx yesterday. They had nano for all providers and they also have a lot of iPhone 5, the guy took one out and showed me the Box of it :) Damn I almost took it and run ahahha joke.

I work in front of a computer all day, and all of it on a VM that I remote into anyway. So working from home isn't a big deal.

My only beef with the Telus process is the lack of communication, assuming the phone shows up about when it should. That seems like an iPhone launch issue in general, though.

But considering when I bought my iPhone4, I had to call multiple independent vendors here in town, and still didn't get one for a month or so anyway, I guess this is an improvement... :)

And what do you mean, managers can't get sick? :)

Well I figured I would try it, I called Virgin mobile, they won't release the Nano cards until Friday, I don't want to line up with a lot of people picking up phones. If my sim doesnt work then I'll have to buy one, nothing ventured nothing gained.

I'm in the same situation as you. Took me a month to find a hole in the wall reseller who had an iPhone 4 since waiting lists through Future Shop, Best Buy, my carrier were 4 digits long. I am perfectly content ordering ahead and knowing it'll come.. someday. Preferably tomorrow but whatever.

Reading through the tweets today, Telus keeps getting badgered about shipping/tracking and they keep responding "we have no communication about that, we'll let you know when we do". So annoying. Guess i'll just have to keep refreshing here and my mail app constantly.

Managers can get sick, but not the ones who haven't shut up about how Friday can't come fast enough because their new iPhone is being shipped. Oops :)

ps. have any of you nano sim hunters tried Walmart? I keep seeing commercials for their phone section, so maybe they will have them.

If you live near Heartland in Mississauga, Future Shop is selling Nano SIMS (Fido). Their system wouldn't let me get a Bell one, but Fido worked just fine. Anyone know where I can get a Bell nano SIM near Mississauga?

Of course they're going to customize the email. It has the order number; tracking number; your name and address customized. Why would the delivery date be generic?

They always have delivery dates like that. It's happened for every Apple product I've preordered. If you're in zone 1, there's an extremely high chance you'll get it tomorrow (with their extended delivery hours, you have an even better chance).
