I called UPS and gave them big **** for shifting the "GUARANTEED DELIVERY BY.." If they can keep shifting it, what kind of a guarantee is that??? Anyway, maybe it was because I was upset that the operator was more upfront with me this time. She said that Apple shipped them in bulk so each palette of boxes gets it time set together, not for each individual delivery so some of the iPhones in my palette got delivered before noon, some before 1:30 and the rest by the end of the day today.
She also said that it's likely that because they're so overwhelmed with shipments in downtown Toronto right now, that they're serving businesses first because they close at 5 and then will move to residential. Great! I've been waiting at home since 9am for nothing. Why aren't they just straight forward right away??
So if you're in downtown Toronto and you're in a residence, chill out for a while because your iPhone will likely not arrive before 5pm. Probably closer to 6 or 7.
