The CANADA iPhone 5 Pre-Order STATUS Thread!

Got it about 30 mins ago, black 64gb unlocked from apple.com, no cosmetic flaws on first inspection. Heading down to apple for a nano sim (not to use in the phone but to use as a guide to cut my microsim down)
 
Business customers from rogers getting tracking info?

For Rogers Business customers:

Business customers are on a separate reservation list, with deveices shipped directly to customers. Getting a phone in-store is a giant headache.

I am waiting for news on my 2 iphone 5 64gig in white. I am #2 and 3 on the list from the very beginning.

I called and spoke to customer service a few times, and keep getting the run-around re: delivery date.

Anyway they told me that no business devices were shipped prior to launch, and that they would start shipping today. It's past 5pm and NO TRACKING NUMBER STILL! :mad:

I'm going crazy... I wish they would just provide a realistic ship date...

Have any business customers received shipping info from ROGERS?:confused:

I pre-ordered my phone and it will get here when it gets here. I did it so I didn't have to compete at some store because it does not matter who gets it first. It seems as though folks have lost their minds. Let it go, take a breath, go back to focusing on any one of the million things that actually matter or are important. Trust me it will be a load off and you'll feel so much better. Just remember in a month everyone you know will have one and none of it will matter. Relax
 
Guess who's not getting their phone today? Apparently 16 and partly cloudy in Vancouver or 22 and clear skys in Prince George qualifies as adverse weather and they wont be delivering today.

UPS tells me it's not actually in Prince George, it just appears that way by their reporting. It's still in Vancouver.

Pretty sure they just decided to say "adverse weather" to cover up the fact that they couldn't handle Apple's volume and dont want Apple to know.

I just got off the phone with telus and I have bad news. My order was placed on Friday September 14th at 7:30am EST and I was told that my order is still in the warehouse and hasn't been shipped. Telus support said anyone who ordered on friday before 4pm est will get a phone is total BS!!! I will not be activating my phone and data plan, I will be returning my phone and I will be switching carriers. Being this unprepared is unacceptable. I HATE TELUS

Where do you live? I really hope this doesn't happen to me. I ordered at 6:30am EST
 
Alrighty... got my pretty new iPhone, activated it (or so I thought?) and still no Service! Geez Telus, this is 5.5 hours here! I have tried powering down and back up, any tips? Anyone else with Telus actually up yet!?
 
Uh oh! Just saw UPS guy drive right by my place ...twice! I think he's lost - I went to run outside, but he'd already disappeared. I've had UPS deliveries before ..so my house is findable.

Got it! ...I told the dude I saw him drive by twice, but he said it wasn't him ...umm, so how many UPS trucks are in the neighborhood ...in the last 5 mins. Now I need to get a Nano SIM :)

Not me. I've had my snazzy new solid black iPod Touch... I mean, iPhone for 4 hours, but no luck on the activations. And the Telus twitter people are pretty much useless this time. They're saying a couple of hours on the phone system.

Telus just said to me they are shipping on Saturday and Sunday in Toronto. I ordered my 16GB Black iPhone 5 at 6:16am eastern time and have not yet received any shipping notification.

I call the web orders dept at Telus and they said their couriers will be delivering all weekend and I should likely receive tomorrow or Sunday??

Anyone else get the same story.
 
iPhone arrived - Telus Montreal

My iPhone 5 ordered from Telus just arrived at my place a few minutes ago. I ordered at 14h30 last friday and never received any tracking email since then. In other words, for those still hoping to be surprised, keep your hopes up!

Bummer... too funny, my iPhone 4 got stolen 3 weeks ago and I have actually been using my sons iPod touch until today, was very excited to upgrade and voila! Lol not much of a difference yet, ;) TGFWiFi! Well good luck to you, hopefully they get it all sorted out shortly, until then I guess I will just smile and nod.
