Rogers dealers sucks....
I phoned the night before and they said we open at 8am. I head down at 7am and in line when at 8am they guy goes we will do pre orders first and then everybody else. It was a store pre order wait list and not Rogers. Everyone there was pissed off.
So basically if those people dont come by 10am to pick up the phone, the people in line get them. They had 7 16GB and 1 32GB. I was 5th in line and 2guys ahead of me wanted 32GB. The rogers guy gets our numbers and sauys be close by.
Meanwhile, I found a great Rogers dealer a few blocks down that noone really knows about, and there is no line. Hopefully he has some in stock.

On hold with Rogers. Waiting to confirm that I can switch to them and get out of my Fido contract with no penalty. Once I know that, when able I'll pick one up on Rogers, either at their store or at the Apple Store.
Screw Fido with their contract-stacking and piss-poor customer service of late. Take my $88 Fido dollars and shove them.

Makes you wonder how many phones they have in stock to actually ship if some stores are only getting 10-15 units and none for another week. Even if they do have a lot in stock I suppose they focus more phones on larger urban areas. I can't imagine eastern Canada getting too many
Totally agree, im in Freddy and looks like we'll be waiting a bit longer until we get one of these.. Id say at least 2 weeks.
If your talking about Apple stores then yes they are selling them for the $159/3 yr term, however activation is taking a LONG time
Waited since 6am this morning. Rogers plus Store opened at 10am, was fully purchased and activated for $159 at 11am. VERY HAPPY!!
if I can upgrade for $159 then I will be upgrading as soon as there are any phones available in Moncton
Rogers website tells me it will be $399 though How are people doing for upgrades from the 3GS?
Ya Im talking about an apple store. Just really hope they will last throughout the weekend
Can someone clarify something for me, I am on Bell and I could have swore the iPhones are first come-first serve. I go to two Bell stores, and their stocks of (10) iPhones are out because all the pre-orders took up the stock.

Just to clarify: You are saying that Apple Stores are iP4's at the carrier's (Rogers, Bell, Fido, Telus) discounted contract price. They aren't just selling them unlocked.
Is that right?
I gave up. After waiting several hours in a line in Fairview Mall I gave up. The line stopped moving for over an hour as Rogers' servers crashed and made things stop. No iPhone4 and many wasted hours in line. I was far back enough that I probably wouldn't have been able to get into the store until close to the end of the day if at all unless things picked up drastically. I guess I'll have to practise patience now.
I arrived at the Rogers Plus at Weston Rd. and Rutherford at 5:30am. Luckily I was number 2 in line and myself and the first guy snagged the only 2 32GB phones. There were 9 others after that. I'm glad that I got up at that hour because who knows when the next ones are coming. There were people driving up as we were all waiting telling us about the madness at the malls. What a day...

Yes, I am asking if the Apple Stores are selling both the unlocked iPhones along with the carriers locked iPhones, which would be at the discounted price of 159/3yrs.
Sorry if that was confusing. My inital thought was Apple would only be selling unlocked iPhones for the 6xx/7xx, and for the carriers, you would actually have to go to a carrier store, but thats almost impossible since most carrier stores have like 3 in stock...
Just went down to the Apple Store at Toronto Eaton Centre... speaking as someone who stood in line for more than 5 hours last month in the UK to get my iPhone 4, I was astounded by the length of the line here still after 12 noon -crazy!
I wanted to get a case for my iPhone 4, but they had NOTHING in stock -just an overpriced $29 dock and a few generic bluetooth headsets. Their line of accessories and cases (or lack of them) was a real disappointment, especially given all the antenna issues. All I wanted was a damn case!
Anyway, I hope everyone that wanted a phone today is getting one -good luck to you all!
