Still confusing. You are asking if they are selling them that way, or you are confirming that they are selling them that way?

You make no sense. I think your the confusing yourself.

His question is very clear. Hes asking IF!! the store has both variations of phones available.

Just got back from the mall with my new iPhone from Bell.

It's funny seeing about 50 people lined up at the Rogers store, 0 people at the Bell store. Seriously why do you people use Rogers?

I'm a bit mad though because they didn't give me any good deals even though I've been a loyal customer for 5 years. I'm going to phone them tonight and ask for free caller ID, if they decline I'll just take it back and buy it unlocked.

My bad, I originally quoted the wrong post.:p

Asking. I want to know if I can go to the Apple Store to do a HUP with Rogers.

Since I caused some confusion, I'll provide the answer: Apple Stores are handling Rogers/Bell/Telus/Fido/etc contact sign ups and re-ups. I just got off the phone with Apple Canada, and the rep confirmed it for me (after she put me on hold and called the Eaton Centre Apple Store to find out).

Apple Stores are selling both unlocked and carrier locked iP4s.

So did you get 200 mins, unlimited txts, unlimited Even 6PM/weekends, 6 GB Data for $55?

if I can upgrade for $159 then I will be upgrading as soon as there are any phones available in Moncton :) Rogers website tells me it will be $399 though :(

How are people doing for upgrades from the 3GS?

I upgraded from signing a 3G contract. ... it will probably be 399 for you guys.

Nope, $60. I'm kind of mad because they guy wouldn't give me a deal. I brought my dad with me because I wanted him to help me negotiate, but instead he made it worse and just "sounds good". If I get the free Caller ID, then I'll be pretty happy. We'll see...

Quick, somebody please answer this!

Backstory:

My dad is the account holder and he is out of town, thus I am unable to do a HUP with Rogers since he wont be present.

The situation:

My cousin is going to Futurshop to get 2 iP4s through a HUP with ROgers.

Can he get 2, give one to me, and once my dad comes back, ill to a HUP and give the phone to him?

Im not from Canada but just wanted to stop by and wish you guys some luck getting your iPhone (for those still waiting).

Dude, you got ripped then. The 6GB is $30 alone. Then, you need to add a voice plan. The cheapest one being $25 gets you 200 mins with unlimited evenings 6PM & weekends plus unlimited texts. Why would you be paying $30? Unless you're getting more minutes or something... those prices are on their website. I would call them right now and argue to bring the price to $55 at the very least. Other features might be harder to negotiate though.

I noticed that too at one plaza, I saw like 30 people at one Rogers store and one guy at the Bell store.

I got my iPhone 4! No lineup at the Virgin Mobile Kiosk in the mall I went to (I was the first one to get it there)

Now I just have to wait for it to be active (ported my # from prepaid) and I have to find a good case for it. Wonder if the Apple store has any nice ones.

FINALLY HOME!
Everything was going well at the Apple Store at Yorkdale and thanks again Nasa25 for letting me know and keeping me posted.

However, just about 25-30 people infront of me and then Rogers decided to crap out, as usual. They were taking people in for outright purchases, bell, and telus, so I went in and purchased an unlocked phone for myself. Waited for that for about 6hrs... and then rejoined the line to do my Rogers HUP (they had put aside phones for us in line).

OMG, ROGERS SERVERS were the end of me. Took me 1.5hrs to get the HUP to finally work!

The Apple Store had tons of stock (at least 600 iphones), but the problem was Rogers. The system was taking so long so it held the entire line up. I think a lot of people quit the line. I was #125 and there were well over 200 by the time the store opened.

Ridiculous, but I guess I was successful. Now I need to sleep!

Good luck to the others and sorry for those who weren't able to get one today. Put your name down on a priority list at an Apple Store if you can or just order online. I have read many people receiving well within the 3 weeks estimated.

I think I'm going to end up paying out of my a@@ for this phone. If I can't get upgrade pricing it will cost me $399 for the phone and if I keep my current plan my bill will still be $80-$90 per month (I have the 6G for $30 in there). Seeing all these plans for 55-60 bucks is starting to depress me lol

Well I think Im going to give up. My cousin went everywhere, as I would try calling every store near him to see if they have any in stock.

Well, only place is MarketMall Calgary, but since the Rogers system crashed, they wont be doing HUP...

Hopefully in the next couple of days I will have one

By the way I dont understand why EVERYONE has to be on Rogers! Like everywhere my cousin went they were sold out for Rogers, but had Bell and Telus ones...

Well the voice plan was either $25 (student) or $30 for regular. I looked on the website, and it matched the papers he showed me which shows the student plan only having 50 minutes. Can you send a link to the $25 200 minute plan you're talking about?
