While cutting your regular SIM card works, the micro-SIM is more advanced (larger on-SIM address book, for example). You don't need a Rogers account to buy a Rogers micro-SIM - they kind of assume you already have one. Just ask for one, and either they can put it on the account for you or you can do it online (the second one being the better option).

Walked by Pacific Centre Apple Store in Vancouver this morning and they still had a lineup, thought it would be sold out by now. Called FutureShop and they had a few left as well.
Any recommendations on getting the best price on selling my old factory unlocked 3GS (purchased from Australia)? Craigslist or eBay?

You can tell what build week it is by the forth and fifth numbers right?? If correct then I have a week 29 loaded with ios 4.0
What do you two mean by "had to update to 4.0.1?? Was there a specific reason for that? Or you guys just wanted to have the latest software for piece of mind?

Mine is a week 30 preloaded with 4.0.1. I noticed that about the baseband too. Guess its device specific then.
That kinda has me worried because I thought I read somewhere the dev team is working to unlock the 05 13 04 baseband.
Hopefully it'll include the 01 59 00 that we have too.
Doesn't really worry me for 2 reasons. 1 - My iPhone is unlocked from apple
, 2 - 5.13.04 is already unlocked using ultrasn0w that came out in June, and the unlock they're working on is for the iPhone4's baseband Anybody from the Moncton area got an iPhone 4? Quantities were very limited... at least with Bell. I heard another shipment might be on its way Tuesday. But God knows if that's true...
Has anyone picked up their phone at Future Shop? I got my 3GS there and if I want to keep my overpriced warranty I need to buy the phone there and they switch the warranty over to the new phone. I'm with Rogers so I'll also be at the mercy of what the system says my upgrade price will be. I'm thinking as soon as FS gets some phones I better get my phone on Kijiji or something

I am also hoping for a Tuesday shipment. I'm off now until Thursday so it would be great to be able to pick one up this week.
I wasn't really sure about the shipment date. Some said next week, some apple store said august 23rdish. So I didn't want to take a chance and lined up early morning at square one yesterday and got one. And I'm soo glad I did! It's awesome!!!! Only thing is, it's hard to find good cases in canada

I picked up my iP4 loaded with 4.0 on Friday.
Now that Apple has stopped signing ios 4 and 4.0.1 is out....should I and can I still save my 4.0 files with Umbrella?
Or have I missed the opportunity to do so?
Or can I only save my files to cydia through Umbrella?
I'm a little confused here and any advice/help would be great!

However, my girlfriend works at the Scotia tower across from Pacific Centre so she's going to head over there on Tuesday as Monday is a holiday.

I'll tell you what is kind - what people like myself did - purchase only the phone(s) we intended to personally use and left the rest for the other people who wanted one and were willing to spend their time waiting.
I suppose we could have purchased more and attempted to sell them for a profit - but that's not kind - that's selfish.

Lol you can't take a little sarcasm obviously I got two so I can sell one. Damn you guys are PMSING, chill. I waited in line fr 10pm to 4pm the next day( nasa25 and zach can confirm) I think I deserve to make a profit. Anywys I just wanted to offer anyone looking here I put auctions on kijiji and eBay.

Btw that's not selfish it's business, many wouldn't buy unlocked. As a matter of fact apple did what I did . I was in the line at 10pm and when we finally got to the store at around 9am. The Rogers servers were down. So they decided to take pol from the back of the line who wanted unlocked phones. Ppl that didn't even wait half the tome that I did. Like I said it's business
