You don't need a special tool, just grab a sharp exacto blade and have a steady hand. I tried cutting one and it was as easy as cutting butter. Like I mentioned before, the thing practically cut itself into a micro sim.
HAHA I think I figured it out....Mr. Macnator is going to the Burlington location! About 45minutes from Toronto. lol
I think I'll be going to the Eastgate Square location or the Queenston Road location if anyone wants to join me...but like really early around 7am
In other news....I sold my 3GS yesterday for $450 Man I'm already going crazy without my phone. I need that instant access to the net and email. I've already reached for the thing a dozen times already! lol
I sooooooo hope I can pick up a ip4 32GB for no more than $399.00 on the early upgrade program.

Yeah I can see that being "fun" to a certain degree, but having to wait for Rogers reps and telus reps to sort things out cause everything is falling apart and not having the phone in my hands while all that happens just kills me.
I'm your typical guy. I know what I want. I just want to walk into the store, pick it up, pay for it and walk about.

Oh I was speaking mainly about the experience of waiting even an hour in line to get my new shiny iphone. This is my first time I'll be doing this. I don't know why im doing this but i'm. but you are right. I don't mind waiting a little in line with a cup of coffee and some sunshine, but if I go in and don't walk out within a max of 30 mins, ill get annoyed. I'm already an exciting customer and all I need for them is to upgrade me. Knowing their computer will probably crash, i hope it goes along within half an hour.

Does anybody know if we will have access to malls in order to line up several hours before the Apple store opens?
Yorkdale? Sherway Gardens? Eatons Centre? Fairview? These locations are all within shopping centres (in Toronto) which lock their doors at night. What are the odds they let us line up inside the mall on the morning of the 30th?
It might be helpful if those of us planning to lineup in the GTA start calling these places to see what information we can get...

I will be getting in line at my local Rogers plus store at 630am, same time as the other 2 iPhone launches in canada. Does anyone know if I would be able to hup my fiances line at the same time I get my iPhone? I pay her bill and I'm authorized on the account, but I'm not sure if I can just walk in on launch day and hup both of our accounts.
Went by my local Best Buy and they didn't have a thing. I already have the Switcheasy Naked and have the IvySkin Reception Case on order. I'm still hoping by some miracle the IvySkin cases actually ship soon so I have a chance of getting it by Friday. I'm more interested in getting the back protection film from it than for the actual case at the moment.

If Rogers allows people who signed up less than 2 months ago to get a HUP (granted, they will probably pay more) and not stack their contracts, why does Fido do this when I've had my contract for 2 years and am due for the HUP?
I know I'm like a broken record on this point, but I am going to bring this up on Friday. I don't want to be upgrading my phone every two years and adding three years to my contract each time when the other carriers don't do this.

yes that is true - could just mean that Rogers sales staff are lazy and used old photos. this info has been floating around for sometime though, i also bet it's accurate.
