since we are talking about ZAGG codes, i just remembered I had a 50% discount code expiring on the 30th of this month. if anyone is interested let me know. Oh If anyone has a NEW iPhone 4 WRAPSOL ULTRA, I would exchange it for the 50% code or a ZAGG iPad full body shield.

Thanks
AE

If I add the $25/500MB data plan to my line right now, am I able to change it to the potential $30/6GB when it comes out for Rogers? I want to add data now so that I'm set for Friday at Best Buy, but definitely want the better plan.

Probably you will be able. As long as you didn't sign a data plan contract, you will be able to change any options or features.

Even if you add $25/500MB under a contract/term you are able to change it to another data option. the contract is just to ensure you keep a data option on your account. Also, you can add $25 data right now with no term, but doing a HUP to the iPhone you'll be signing 3 year term and it'll apply to your voice and data plans.

Hi , if possible please mail me in chaanddr@yahoo.co.in

Thanks

I currently have voice and data (email on BB). I am not eligible for an upgrade as I move to a BOLD 2 last November.

Would this scenario work? I can cancel my data plan, pay the $100 fee and enroll in the new 3 year plan $6gb/30. Would this mean I would be HUB eligible or considered a new plan so I can get better pricing for the IP4?

Cancelling and resigning the data won't make you HUP eligible. Best is to wait to see full upgrade options for everyone.

good luck, you cant charge them to your account.

you have to pay for the upgrade upfront, at least for rogers.

they do not do phone orders either, only in store.

no you pay for unlocked phones and new activations up front, UPGRADES are charged to your carrier account at the apple store.

EDIT: Confirmed, again, with Apple Fairview store that ROGERS upgrades are charged to your ROGERS account.

So I left the apple eco-system, only to run right back.. So I'll be in line at the Apple store, Friday morning..

Have to hand it to Apple, their customer service is amazing, I never realized it until I tried somebody else..

yayaya, I know, should have never left, but you never know how good you have it till you try something else.

I had a similar experience. I sold my iPhone 3G for $300 last month and bought a one month old Sony X10 for $400. I REALLY wanted to try an Android phone. The idea of not having Apple control the apps and how I use my phone was really appealing to me. However, the X10 just "didn't cut it". It was a really good phone but the interface was not nearly as polished as the iPhone OS. So I sold the X10 for $400 and bought a brand new 16GB 3GS (in the box) for $400. It is much faster than my older 3G!!!

Problem now is that I am really eyeing the iP4. If I buy one on Friday, my wife is going to think I've gone nuts!! Three new cellphones is one month! I think I need help with my technology addiction!!!

I'm sure I could get the $400 back for the 3GS and then purchase the iP4 but I am worried about the problems that have been in the media. :(

Decisions, decisions! :D:apple:

hey man, are you going to fairview? I'm planning to upgrade by going there but am worried that the mall itself might not open on time, and the fact that if they open some doors before the other, people can get inline before me. Plus I know I can go to the Rogers Store @ 10 and get it. what do you think. I can drag one of my friends with me to wait at the Rogers store lineup, while I go to fairview and come back, maybe that will work?

Thanks
AE

If your wife gets mad, ask her how she'd feel if you got mad at her for buying purses or shoes??

Should fix things up easily!

Hi

PM if you are going to fairview on friday. I just found the only way in that early into the mall. There is only one door open at that time. Let me know we can meet up and stuff.

Thanks
AE

I was going to do the normal 4 hour wait outside the rogers store but I figured that I want to get a head start on my day off, so hopefully I can be out of the apple store by 830 or so, as opposed to the normal 1230 to 1pm that would be inevitable if I went the rogers store route.

That's why it's nice to go to downtown Montreal kiosks. The malls are pretty much always open because of the ''metro''.

No no no, did you not read the article, basically it confirmed what I was worried about. Apple launched in 17 countires at the same time. Inventory will be dead low. I'm waking up at 4:30 leaving my house at 5 and going to fairview. I'll see how things play out but will have my friend ready to go to one of the Rogers plus locations at Yonge and sheppard at around 6:30 or 7am.

Thanks

Apple Fairview confirmed that they will have plenty of stock, plus if I get there at 5am I should be able to at least get one of their few iPhones (if they only have a few). If they open the doors at 7am and people are told that they have very few in stock (and I'm not able to get one) I will just head over to my rogers store in Scarborough for around 8am and join the line there.

BTW, Best Buy has all the iPhone 4 accessories available by now. i.e. Cases.

Not much selection online but at least something.
I don't know how the "Bumpers" are going to be handled?

Will we HAVE to order it through the phone "app" or will Apple Store/Rogers/Bell/Telus/Best Buy have them there for us?? Anyone know?
