I wonder what time you can actually make a purchase by phone... I'm thinking 7:30 AM. Anyone have a clue? I need to bargain a deal with retention so I won't be going in-store to get the phone.
Rogers will not do HUP over the phone, you have to go to the store.
They changed their policy a few weeks ago.

Ive spoken to two CSRs. Take it for what its worth, but both said you can order over the phone.

Well this is Rogers anyways the other carriers still do phone orders =)
But if Rogers changed the same policy they implemented weeks ago then that would be great. Not sure they even put it in the first place

I suppose I should of specified... but I'm with Bell. I spoke with a rep today and he told me to call back. So, it shouldn't be a problem... but quantities are limited.

I went to the Rogers Plus store. They showed me their screen and I wasn't eligible. 2 reps on the phone before said I was good for the full discount. After the store visit, another rep on then phone said since I got my 3G in Sep 08, I need to wait but that I should call in and see if I could early upgrade.

I don't believe the last guy since he didn't even know the price of the phone today while the other reps said otherwise.

I really don't want to drive 1hr+ to the Apple store to suffer the same problem.

What would I do? I'm month to month so I sholder be eligible

Cancel and go with Bell. I'm in the same situation with Rogers and Rogers have been a nightmare to deal with lately.

You will get the $159/$269 price in store forget what the Rogers Plus rep told you.
You got your phone before Dec 2008 you are fine to get the full subsidized pricing of $159/$269.

That's what the rep on the phone told me as well that I couldn't order it today because it's not released yet. But I could go to a local Bell store and get one. I wonder of there will be a good amount per store. This was a completely dIfferent sorry from a chat rep that said I could call in and get it today. I have a few Bell stores around where I live.

Anyone here from Barrie?

I called as well to inquire about this. The rep said you can order online, through the phone, and in store starting tomorrow. He said if you order online/phone, then it would most likely get delivered in 3-5 days.

My plan is to call tomorrow morning to do this. I dont mind waiting, just so long as I have peace of mind im getting one..lol

That sounds good. Me and my cousin both called, and said we can order through the phone. I will be calling them first thing tom inorder to escape backorders, if any.

But that one guy saying they wont do it, as you need to do it in store is scaring me...

What are my prospects to get an iPhone if I arrive at Best Buy at around 7:30am for their 10:00am opening?

I wouldn't worry too much Apple will have a huge stock prob well over 100. So even if you get there at like 4am you should be ok... Hopefully

Bad. I work at Futureshop (the biggest one on the South Shore of Montreal) and we only received 4 from Telus, 2 from Bell/Virgin and 2 Rogers/Fido. There was already people lining up when I left tonight at 9PM lol.

Btw those of you who have an iPad with Telus, you can use the same MicroSIM, meaning you could sign for a big data contract with Telus and share with your iPad.

Anyone got info on pricing and Upgrade for Telus ?
