No. I would have rather they been more conservative in their timeline for the watches they're having issues with. Instead of "Delivers 4/24-5/8", they could have put "Delivers by 5/8". Simple, clear, easy.
i dunno zmunks, it seems like that only 1 guy in all of this is the only proof? a tenuous sign, at best, and a hoax, at worst
Apple provide a delivery window and you assume a specific date in that window then get upset they might not hit it, and that's *their* fault? Oookkkk...

Would that have stopped you from hoping it came sooner and what if it did come sooner and you werent around to take posession and sign for it?
Yeah true, a screen shot would be better... and I just read the "didnt get an email of death" thread that is open, and everyone posting in there is prepared for shipping across the board looks like... I am not sure what to make of this
That's my guess. 1.0 pound on shipping label is way less then anyone else's and the 22 instead of 23rd.
Maybe he is right, after screen shot.
lol, I'm not the salty one. Email appears to be a damage control attempt, but still states 4/24-5/8. You wanna stick around and comment on "your Apple watch hasn't been born yet". Salt wounds if you must

I am not sure if this means anything, but I ordered a 38 SS BSB at 3:17am est and it was charged today. I ordered a 42 SS BSB at the same time and have not been charged for that, but did not receive the email of death on either one yet. Not sure what this says about that email or my second one. I am located in South Florida.
I love that they just invented the delivery window this month and people are already defending it and pretending it's been around for other launches.
Apple does do things bad sometimes you know. I mean Jesus, I'm an Apple fan but you people are ******** insane.

It wouldn't have stopped me from hoping it was sooner, but i probably wouldn't be anxious about it the way I am now. Being early would have been a lovely surprise.
I'm not picking on you at all, just something that has always bugged me, but why does majority of this forum find the need to abbreviate everything! EOD, PFS, SS, WSB, Like seriously!? Most of the time I know what they mean but there have been times I just sit there confused!

Also I said nothing about the iPhone. I said Apple Watch. Maybe this is causing misunderstanding? And when I say it hasn't been born yet I didn't mean they haven't started production on it yet I meant it's not done yet.
I got this email on my 42mm space gray sport. Order confirm email at 12:04am.
I did not get this email for my 42mm white sport that I ordered 2nd via the app. Same 12:04 confirm.
The white charged two days ago and has been sitting as Preparing for Shipment since then.
So I assume the white gets here Friday (or very close to) and the orders getting this letter are later in the 4/24-5/8 window.
