I always get AC+ but have never used it. I’ve often wondered about my phones getting scratched. It would drive me nuts! I’m interested in what “technical fault” you can develop to get your phone replaced?
Naked all day long. It's also nicer on the pinky I use to rest the device on as there's no sharp edges on the bottom like my 7+ (lightning port and speaker grills).

Silver is just as much a finger magnet, the joys of glass backs. Feels nice though so worth the extra effort.

The glass is so much gripper than the 7 and 7+My wife and I wanted to go naked. But after realizing that it might be a tad slippery, we just picked up some apple cases. No screen protector though. I think screen protectors look tacky as **** with the outline and ****.
Get a knife, put a big scratch in the back and don’t look back. It instantly removes any worry if it’s already scratched.
Naked here, AND I put my naked phones down on hard surfaces!
I never have anything in the pocket with them, and I don’t tend to drop them (*knock wood*), so I’m not a monster, but I don’t baby them either.
My phones have always had good resale value, because they look damn good at the end of the year. That’s good enough for me.

I don’t trust myself after my traumatizing experience with breaking my screen over and over again on my 6. In a case for me unless I’m chilling in bed before falling asleep, I’ll rock it naked
Of course there are micro scratches (it was the jet black, after all), but nothing you can see unless you’re looking very closely in just the right light. That’s good enough for me.

Glass on the front and back? Nope. I have a Liquid Crystal clear case and a screen protector on the front. Not taking any risks.

The question is simple: did your phone fall at least once in the last 18 months? If the answer is yes, by not using a case you are adding 600 eur to the cost of the phone.
I think lots of people will get pretty mad.
For me, Apple care and case.

when I was thinking about getting a case this was the one I was looking at. the phone does kind of slide around on my couch right now without it. is that one of those cases that's been or is it a rigid piece?I love holding the phone naked, but like someone said for 1500$ Cad i have no choice to put a case on...
I bought a spigen case “air skin”
the thing is so thin it’s almost like it naked minus the glass texture.
No one here is saying that going caseless is for everyone, why do you feel the need to decide that all of us need a case?
I’ve had every iPhone since the 3G, and only used a case for one. I also hardly ever buy AppleCare Plus, though this time I will.
Do you want to know how often I’ve needed a repair or replacement that was due to user error or mistreatment?
Zero.
Most of us aren’t reckless or stupid, and definitely not looking to add to the cost of owning an iPhone.
I don’t develop a technical fault but my iPhones seem to start randomly restarting suddenly at around the 6 month mark.
I took off case (swapping cases) and put the X on a glass surface. It wobbled.

Just took a look at etsy.com. There are some nice sleeves there but none as cool as yours!
Been running naked since iPhone 4. A case kills the design of the phone. Also makes it thicker and ugly.
Or you could just be careful with your phone. In the 7 years I’ve owned iPhones, I’ve never damaged a single one, that includes the last 4 years of going caseless.
Or you could just buy insurance.
It’s just a preference for some Not use cases. Sure a super thin case is nice but it kills the feel of this phone in your hand. A thin case won’t do much in terms of drops either so I see no point.

Never too much a fan of sleeves. I’ve never had problems in my pockets as it gets its own pocket. I don’t live close to any beaches. I like using it quickly out of my pocket and this would take some getting used to. I think I’ll keep rocking it without anything.

Its more like a rigid plastic than a soft rubber case, if i try to fold it without the phone inside i might damage the case...
It’s so thin if the phone falls down this case won’t do any miracles lol
