Tried the store at their head office in Hatfield Business Park and they didn't have any. They didn't know how many they were getting in and if they would have any spare over the number of iPhones they are getting.

I'm not sure how this work...

I've got a standard sim card for the blackberry 9780, do i have to go O2 shop to request for nano sim card? in that case - do i have to get a new number or they will cut for me?

help plz !

Go into o2 and they will give you a new nano sim and then transfer your number across to it.

As I can't guarantee getting into a T-Mobile store tomorrow, and the stores can't even promise they'll have stock for sim replacements, I decided to get a 30 day rolling contract for a few months with Three.

I now have my iPhone 4 running on a nano sim with an adaptor, so I'm all ready now for tomorrow :)

Three must be loving this iPhone launch!

Just got off the phone with my EE store and i smell a lot of BS coming all the way from them to my house. Apparently they still don't have any nano sims at all. I was told to phone tomorrow morning and find out. Eff that, I'll be there at 9am when they open to get one. I find it strange that they don't have any when i was told on yesterday the manage expected to have about 150 more nano sims than iphones but he may not have interactive nano sims there (the ones needed to transfer numbers to)

Just got back from the T-Mobile branch by Bond Street Station. They have taken delivery of their Nanos and they did a SIM swap for me there for the rumoured £10 charge - hope this helps someone!

Congratulations mate! :)

If only other stores would follow. I've talked to a few today, and they all say that the stock is locked up until tomorrow.

Just popped into the tmobile store at 135 Oxford circus and they gave me a nano sim for £10. They told me to call 150 to activate it when I get my iPhone so I can keep the current sim until then.

I mentioned to one of the shops yesterday, that someone had been told they would be able to do this when the sims came in. The guy told me that shops weren't supposed to do that (sims should be fully activated when sold), but that some do break with protocol.

I have no idea how true that is......just relaying what I was told :)

I need to trial the 3 sim for a month or so to see how it covers the areas I frequent, but initial impressions are positive. I'm getting good signal everywhere so far, and the download/upload speeds are far outperforming T-Mobile.

Maybe I'll switch to 3 semi-permanently, as EE 4G isn't expected in my area anytime soon :)

Was just wondering if anyone has managed to switch their sims online as I'm hoping to do the same tomorrow as the account holder won't be here to phone up and do it. In theory the website should work but alot of the your account features arn't working properly if atall.

Edit: By 'Your Account' I mean the service on the Orange website.

Can anyone confirm that Three has nanoSIM on PAYG?

Went to a Three store at Liverpool St. Station. They said it's contract only. And for many reasons I cannot sign phone contracts. (Not a UK resident)

Got my nano from Vodafone yesterday and just did the swap online. Now using it in my ip4 with the help of my blagged adaptor from 3!! :D

Finally managed to order a nano-SIM from O2 chat support today. The rep tried to tell me that I could only get one in-store (habitual lying seems a common trait of O2 chat support reps, I've discovered); I had to resort to all caps and demand to talk to their supervisor (I didn't, but they did, apparently). They claim 1–3 business days for delivery.

Went to 2 Three stores yesterday to swap my micro SIM for a nano, was told they are saving them all for people actually purchasing the iPhone off them. So I'm having to wait a few days for one to be delivered after calling 333.
Considering cutting mine down later otherwise I'll have to wait til next week :(
