I got my new 27 inch BTO iMac a while ago however i just spotted a dead pixel right above the dock. I called apple and without any questions they are gonne send me a new iMac. They guy said that because its a BTO iMac it has to come from china again. But said he will push my order before the other ones. So i can expect to have the new one here far within two weeks 🙂 When i have the new one they will send a company to pickup my current one. Im very happy with this process 😀
I am hoping (yes, it is mere hope and I'm sure not a reality) that my card is charged before 1/17 to take advantage of the special holiday financing but trying to accept the fact it will not happen and I need to find another way to pay for it. 🙁
So I join the rest of you, waiting anxiously and impatiently...
i5, 1TB fusion, 32GB Ram ( non apple ) and 680MX
I sold my i3 2010 21" for the upgrade
So far its fast fast fast.
Its taking some time to adjust to the screen size, seems easier than using the last years 27" but just can't get over the size of this thing
Loving it mind.
Speakers are no worse and might even be better than my old 21.5"
Fan noise and HDD nothing !!!!! NOTHING!!!!!

Anyone have an idea on how long it takes to ship after charging the card?
It still says processing
21.5 inch High model
with fusion upgrade.
Thanks
I placed my order 12/31, customer service is saying "Janurary" ship date lol. I called around to a few retail stores and found a 27" i7 with my exact specs. Needless to say I canceled my order, and will be picking up to tomorrow!
What were those specs?
I'm doubting they have a fully specked with only 8GB of ram...

Ordered the following specs on January 4th and got an estimated delivery date of February 1st-7th...eep. 🙁 Oh well, it'll make getting my new machine that much sweeter.
27" iMac
3.4GHz i7
16GB RAM
1TB Fusion Drive
GeForce 680MX Graphics
Magic Trackpad

You can doubt it all you want while you wait weeks for your iMac.
