My mock up after a few minutes with Photoshop
more of a integration with the current Nano
I don't think they'll make it in more colors.. I like the 2nd one, nice mockups!!
Mine's coming up soon...
Nice, nice, i think you should consider putting the music covers not rotated
I'm coming up with a new one, with better ergonomics..
You know those are based on the videos of the new iPod interface... With that slanted artwork. I quite like it.
wow that really looks nice!!!!This took me forever -_- But I'm finally done! What do you think?
I made everything from scratch againI'm not one for using existing products and modifying them.
Does anybody else think that looks just like a regular Nano?
I would love to have a smaller version of the iPhone with just the Phone and Internet features. I love the current iPhone but it's just a bit too heavy for me. If there was a downsized version I'd get it in a heartbeat...like an iPhone Shuffle![]()
I added a white one
And this took me longer then I thought it would
The interface is what I call the film roll, you flick through the screen, and the icons at the top and bottom change- like they slide through, and the time and wallpaper stay put. It's like the squares on the outside of the film roll moving along.
I think a bunch of you are missing some very key points.
1) Any such "iPhone Nano" would be made for a market of people who MOSTLY NEVER EVER COME TO THIS WEB SITE.
2) Having just said that, the baby boomer generation isn't exactly known for having eagle eyes. Therefore, there is no need to make the device any smaller. This also saves Apple money on hardware and manufacturing.
Here's what a dumbed-down iPhone would need: all the phone stuff (favorites, contacts, the big keypad), calendar, photos, SMS, maps (w/GPS), weather, mail, and iPod. You could possibly add Safari to this, but just make it accessible through WiFi like the Touch. This way, people don't have to pay the $20/month for all the data features they wouldn't need.
This could probably be done just by offering the phone with different software packages. I just know my mom would use an iPhone if all it did was send and receive calls with that big ol' screen. Sync her contacts up and she's ready to go. She might use the iPod feature, but I haven't talked her into that yet. However, she did seem interested when I showed her the Clark Howard podcast today. If there was an I Love Lucy podcast, she'd probably rush out and get one tomorrow (for about $99).
