I like the 1st one better. NO way are they going to do one with a keypad like that. You really think they want to throw away the tech thats causing the upset in the entire handset industry? The 2nd one looks like a cheap blackberry ripoff.
If anything they might do that 1st one.....the little micro iphone with the multitouch screen.
It's the same length as the previous, previous one...
I like the second one more, because he put more work into it, and he's trying to use a different way of input...

Texting
One of the biggest downfall of the regular iphone is the texting/typing. It is difficult and time consuming. I think that it would be twice as hard with an iphone nano. I love the look of your guys designs but i think the only way to text/type on something that small is having a stylus. I think the only way apple would produce and iphone nano is you had a sliding keyboard or something like the verizon has even though the verizon model sucks. Do you guys agree?

I slimmed her down, and got rid of the button. A simple flick of the wrist brings you back to the carrousel. The carrousel is similar to the scroll wheel, and coverflow mixed, it's sort of a circular coverflow. The apple logo on the back is a light similar to on the macbooks the glows its corresponding color.

I like the colors. They are subtle, and they give the design a really cool look. I think the screen is small, and would make typing difficult. I'm sure they'd be able to figure something out - they always do!
Here's something to think about - Isn't the iPhone pretty small now? Except for the phone part, I think it is about a small as you could want, and still be able to do anything with it, other than use it as a phone. It could be slimmer, but that would make it harder to hold - and even less ergonomic than it already is. It is clearly a phone first!

Thanks, I tried to find a way around the small screen for typing but i couldn't think of anything. THe only thing i could think of was using a keypad with T9 texting. But that's like the worst thing that could happen, why even have a touchscreen at all then? I then had an idea of using a system sort of like fast scrolling on the iPhone where there is a stack of letters and when you put your finger on the screen the letters around your finger get bigger, from here you can drag over to what letter you want and lift your finger up on which letter you would like. It would still look like the current iPhone keyboard but when a finger goes down it enlarges the surrounding letters. It wouldn't be the fastest thing in the world, but it would work.
