Well played, however I have an excuse. I have been sunning myself by a pool for the last 10 days.
My team is riddled with injury, Rooney my Captain is knackered. Looks like I have some work to do

Okay then, the month is done so let's see how we're all getting on...
A cursory look at the table shows us that it's none other than Neutron Heath who are sitting pretty at the top of the League table, welcome news no doubt for their gaffer oscillatewildly. But has he also managed to clinch September's MacRumors Manager of the Month award?
It would seem not, because with a tally for the month of 207 points it's none other than mroddjob who takes the plaudits.
mroddjob has certainly demonstrated that where his Tommo's Terriers' matches are concerned he knows how to hold onto a lead. The question remains though as to whether he'll fall into a period of paw form and make a dogs dinner of the rest of the season, or if he'll go on to winalot more points?

I must say I am really enjoying what is now my second season doing Fantasy League (mainly because I'm not getting pumped every weekend.) Switching Given for Al-Habsi in goal at the weekend now seems inspired but I am limited due to my choice of strikers, can't wait for the transfer window to open.
I also seem to be putting together a good cup run, main blip was Jaffa's Sporting Dual-Cores coming from behind to beat me by 2 points. So bring it on Nieval's Angry Mob
Ref: earlier conversation, my youngest has added Subbuteo to his Santa list, nearly fell off my seat when he asked. No idea where he picked up the idea but I can't wait!

I've manage to forget to check this thread for a couple of weeks so am probably too late to collect my trophy.

Nieval's Angry Mob currently top the pile with 560 points amassed so far this season. However, despite a strong showing during October Nieval didn't quite do enough to clinch the MacRumors Manager of the Month award...
That honour instead goes to pjlander, whose Fightin' Shrooms garnered 209 points for the month.
In addition to their League exploits, the Shrooms have a long established reputation for being a very strong Cup side and this tradition continued this past month with an unbeaten run in their four MacRumors Cup matches including a very impressive 72-18 win over Rugby United this last Gameweek.

Right, time to stop messing around. I've spent the last couple of evenings poring over fixtures, form and freekick takers, and my wildcard will be played this evening ahead of the new Gameweek's fixtures.
