My festive period went along the same lines.

It's not just fantasy football types who have had a depressing festive period – Scotland has had a pretty miserable December. The country has been battered by gales and bad weather, there are increasing concerns about the economy, and there have also been horrifying revelations about the sex lives of the Krankies.

However, they've been cheered north of the border by one bit of fantastic news – Fuzzy14 has earned the MacRumors Manager of the Month award for December after leading the Renfrew Meerkats to an unmatched tally of 390 points for the month.

I have it on good authority that as the seconds ticked down on 2011, the streets of Scotland were packed with revellers – the skies above Edinburgh Castle were filled with fireworks and Glaswegians frolicked in their city centre. I can only surmise that these scenes of delight were due to Scotland celebrating one of their own receiving this prestigious award.

So well done to our own high-flying Scotsman.

I'll update us with the other standings one this Gameweek's fixtures are settled.
