Absolutely. The Pebble doesn't do much with iOS, it just displays notifications, lets you control music, and answer/end calls. It seems like its big thing is it's own apps, which are all pretty shallow really.I had the Pebble for a while and the lack of integration with Apple devices really bothered me. The Apple Watch is the perfect pairing device with the iPhone, and I wasn't able to get most of what I wanted with the Pebble. I sold it after a few weeks because I never used it. I also don't like the appearance of it,and Apple is one of the only companies that really considered people with small wrists.
I might have mentioned before that I wanted a smart watch as a remote control for when I use my big headphones. That's all I really wanted out of the Apple Watch but it didn't deliver when compared to the Pebble. As a remote I'm more interested in physical buttons I can operate through clothing than the benefits the Apple Watch has (like navigating playlists).
The problem with all these devices though is they're only hinting at what's to come. Pebble will no doubt fade away and the Apple Watch will become another main line in Apple's hardware. By that time we should have some incredible tech in these things.
