So the Yanks lose again because of no offense and a POS bullpen.
And I just got back from the Nationals game seeing Strasburg pitch and the umpires costing them the game. Not only that, Obama was in the audience and fans were going, " Why is he here and not fixing that oil spill?" Can people not appreciate anymore that the President is there and you can see him? And that he took his kids to the game? Bah! And of course I didn't have my camera with me.

He swung and the catcher didn't catch the ball and went back to the backstop...... And doesn't that mean he has a chance to run to 1st base?
He got hit by the pitch. That means the ball is dead and whatever happened before that stands.

Ah. I didn't see that since he was a left handed batter and I was on the 1st base side. The whole stadium was livid and screaming that he got Joyce'd.
I still don't understand why he was even swinging. The ball hit the dirt like 8 feet ahead of him.

Ahem counting our chickens a little too soon huh? 1-4 vs the Mets this year with 13 more games to go. I have to say the Central and West divisions have proven stronger then in recent past.
BTW Philles 2-4 vs Mets with 12 togo; BTW where are those national fans?

It was painful to watch. Our bullpen is usually pretty decent. I place most of the blame on Randy Winn who couldn't catch a fly ball in the outfield if his life depended on it. If Ludwick wasn't on the DL and was playing in right field last night, the Rox would've never won. Randy Winn is ****ing useless at the plate and in the outfield.
This was really scary to watch.

I don't blame him for not catching the ball as it would have been a tough catch, and he was obviously worried that it would get behind him. However, dropping the ball twice is inexcusable.
Also in Winn's defense, the Cardinals gave up 8 hits in the inning including 2 home runs off of the closer Franklin. Lots of blame for the Cardinals in this one.
Joe and John are horrible ill mute and put on MLB at bat even if its a few second delay whats worse is when they star on a topic they will go on for 30-40 min with out making a single call while game play is going on.

Joe Buck is TERRIBLE as a football commentator as well, I can't stand the tone of his voice and his whole approach to calling the game is BEYOND irritating. He is the classic short guy trying way too hard to project a manly, booming voice and it's like nails on a chalk board every time I hear him. I would rather listen to Dick Vitale fer chrissakes!!
