agreed Sheppard will be miss I really hope ESPN does everything they can so that we can hear Sheppard call out Jeters Name during the all star game.

So who's with me that CC should be the top contender for Cy Young in the AL so far this year he Dominated todays game.
 
Well the Dodgers man handle the Cubbies again!

You would never be able to tell the Cubs have the 3rd highest annual salary by the way they played this last 4 game series against the Dodgers!

They would have been swept if the Dodgers hadn't sat 4 of their starters on Saturday.

How in the world do you take Johnson over Jimenez for the Cy Young? Johnson hasn't even won 10 games! Jimenez has 15 wins; one of only a few to do that before the All-Star break. He has pitched a no hitter this season against the Braves. He has also thrown 3 complete games this season.

What has Johnson done that is better than that?
 
how did david ortiz win the home run derby? :eek:

i just think its kind of funny that he ended up beating hanley of all the players in it
 
Say what you want about him the Sport world just lost probably the bigest name in Sports RIP George:(

Well at least they were there on time, if it was Dodger Stadium the place would be empty until the 3rd inning.:p

I was pleased they showed Vladimir respect.

Did Joe Buck get a face lift?
 
Ike Davis and Jamie Garcia are awesome and should be Hon Mentions too. Forgot them. Wins don't always equal pitching superiority. Jimenez is awesome but Johnson is better.

How the hell is Ortiz an all star, he can't even run the freaking bases.

NL wins, thats good because when the Yankees win the WS in 5 they get to celebrate at home.

How did the Red Sox blow it? For not telling Ortiz to go on a diet so he could run faster? :rolleyes: And I am a Yankees fan here.....

Now a Sox team did blow it and it was the White Sox. Damn Chicago....... :mad::p

Though you can also say wtf is with Mauer. Did anyone teach him any basic base running rules? Balls hit to the 3B or SS, STAY PUT! Do not run to third! I could only see people like Gardner have any chance of pulling it off, and you sir are no Gardner. But, I still wouldn't advise Gardner doing that.
