The MLB 2010 Season Thread

Yanks Streak comes to a end oh well but on a side note the Yanks had a great Triple Play yes Triple play in the 6th but still pull out the series win and start off against the angels tommorow night the PS3 MLB app is pretty awsome watchin the Mets/Cubs game now.
 
Some aggression by Texeria plowing into home.

There is going to be a brawl before this game ends.

at least there wasnt a hissy fit am i the only one who didnt hear bout that "rule" with the pitcher before the game yesterday?

on a Side note this PS3 MLB thing kicks as$ if you have a PS3.
 
Ok could people seriously stop these lil no nonsense things on the Yankees first the umps whining about the time of games next off with the A's Hissy Fit over the pitcher mound now people are whining over Tex's slide give it a break if it was any other team there wouldst be a discussion about it any other player would have slid like that if they were in the same position.
 
Ryan Howard got a Very nice pay day extension 125 Million over 5 years thats pretty crazy and probally not good news for the cards because I'm sure this will almost gaurantee Puljos will be sure to be close to the 30 million range per year all ill say is keep Albert away from Boston 🙂

Indeed So I vote Joe needs to A dump/trade Javy or B put him in the Bullpen and Just use a 4 man rotation because if it weren't for those last 2 losses by Vazquez the yanks would have not loss a game the last 2 weeks of the month.

Congats to Dallas Braden and the Oakland A's for a perfect game! Wow! Thanks to ESPN for carrying the last inning so I could watch it. Any macrumors folks at the game?

I was watching the Rockies game, and they said "sorry we're leaving to show you something..." showed the final out, and went back to the game.

Good for Braden.

The Rockies / Dodgers game had some great pitching as well, but it darn sure wasn't perfect.

And on the Philly front, it was nice to see Lidge get his first save today in convincing form.
 
Who makes the schedule, the Yankees won't be in Fenway again until the last weekend of the season in October.

Oh good, so the Sox can keep the Yanks out of the postseason while at home. 😛

P.S. NYY shouldn't start Burnett in Fenway anymore.

i was watching the game on sunsports, and started to puke during the last inning. the rays got perfect gamed again.

The way Papelbon throws he won't be a long term pitcher. He is going to blow out his arm someday. Plus the way Rivera is pitching he could go another 5 years if he wanted.

I know. The Yankees should never go after Papelbon. Joba I believe will be Mo's replacement.
