I have never heard that.
Turn around for who?

Yankees even though they haven ben winning still think they were missing something from last year today it looked like they had it back more like that them not always being out of it every game they looked like they were done but today looked like they knew that they had a chance today.

They have only lost 2 series all season, I don't think they were missing anything. They just were never in many come from behind games that they needed to rally from.

Man, what a game! I had it DVR'd for 4 hours and barely caught it all. Incredible. THAT is why I love baseball. Not just 'cause my Yankees won, but because it was such a close game and both teams were great. I never would have thought that Marcus Thames was gonna hit that walk-off. Wow. :)

tough win hard to watch i still think the game should have not gone past the 6th inning there were plenty of plays both sides were the weather was a factor the whole Beckett thing was weird to I wonder if anything will come out of the protest for the yankees but i doubt it. it will be nice on Monday finally get a day off which they havent had off since the 6th.

Posada is out a month, the Braves get a lucky Grand Slam, and Hanley Ramirez has some growing up to do.

granderson did good in his minor league showing. Finally the Yanks have a day off and the next few series should be a easier for the yanks there going against the Twins Baltimore and Cleavland

on a side note who is the Moron that Scheudles the Yankees/Mets against the Lost Finale who ever did that needs to be fired lol

The Cubs had to go to the bullpen before they could even record an out in the first inning. No wonder they haven't won a world series in over a century. But I'm enjoying the game :D

Way to go MLB http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/news/story?id=5230498

just a fine oh boy:rolleyes: whats even more scary I didnt even know he's the Ump union president yeah he's geting a lil to outa controll for both things.

"I don't know what he's talking about. Ozzie came out because Buehrle was making gestures on the mound that could have got him kicked out so he was protecting Buehrle, that's all he was doing. I don't have a problem with that," West said.

If he didn't have a problem with it, then why was he waving Ozzie to go back to the dugout, etc?

West needs to go. I think all of the players and coaches who experience this atrocity of an umpire needs to speak up.

Oh and Joe West is at it again :) http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/mlb/news/story?id=5225554

this guy is geting on a ego trip and I hope MLB does something with him.

I agree. West is a terrible umpire.

I remember one time he ejected Gardenhire before Gardy even got to West to fight a call.

you should have heard hawk during the game that day on wgn, he wasn't happy at all, saying that joe west was a disgrace to umpiring and that he was doing all of it to get attention and putting himself into the game. i agree, that was so dumb, and hawk said he should be suspended.

What do you guys think of Jason Heyward so far. He has been damn impressive so far. Probably more than any 20 year old I have seen in my lifetime.

i doubted heyward when he started the season because he was 20 years old and i thought he was being brought up too soon, partially due to what happened to jeff francoeur a few years back. but after seeing him for quite a few games, i'm thinking differently, as he's currently saving our bacon as one of the few hitters that was hitting when most of the team was in a slump. but he is the real deal, and could be our next superstar if we do this right.

i watched that, cubs stink. randy wells' era today: infinity.

Yeah Michael Kay on Yes made a good point to he said along of the lines out of all the Umps there are in the Bigs if you can name one guy mainly for the stuff that west has done that should tell you he's over his head.
