Just tried using the TNT app which works fine but it does seem a bit odd using my trusty iPad 1 to track it's own replacement

Is the old iPad getting sold/handed down or used elsewhere in the house. I think the old iPads still have plenty of life yet in them and could be utilised somewhere.

I would ask apple why UKMail will not deliver on a Saturday due to it being 100% their fault.

Or beg for a free Smart Cover. Really, that's not acceptable.

UKMail do deliver (as a premium) on a Saturday. I work for Royal Mail and if we did that you would get it the next day if it was sent to a wrong depo. Including Saturdays.

Or try UKMail customer services?

My Track & Trace info from Syncreon... I don't understand it at all !!!!! Anyone in UK is getting the same info from them ?? My apple store page saying my expected delivery date is 13-mar as well .. but it's the 15th already !!

They don't typically as it depends where you are on a particular drivers route. Sometimes closer to the depot get delivered first other times it's the addresses furtherest away. Also depends if they do all their deliveries before starting the collections.

They always plan their routes such that they turn left if at all possible. Are you right or left out of the depot?

TNT tracking at last!

For those still waiting patiently (or impatiently) as I have all day for TNT to show some signs of life, you will get there.....mine just activated.

Used the apple tracking number from my email (10 digit) and tried it separately in the consignment AND then ref number fields - the ref number one came up trumps.

New ipad in Nuneaton at 3.10pm and merrily in transit to Luton. Gonna be a fine day tomorrow. Good luck to those still waiting.

Take your reference number (starting with 8) and type it into the UKMAIL track and trace site.

Only put the digits (starting with 8) into the REFERENCE number section.

They would turn left I guess but my house is 20+ miles from there so who knows how many left/rights are involved.

It simply means the International carrier (Syncreon) has passed it to the UK delivery company - currently looks like UK Mail, TNT and UPS...

Try using your "Reference Number" (from the Syncreon website) - then enter it on the UKMail/UPS/TNT websites...

That worked for others and worked for my UK Mail parcel...

Yes, just got that by accident, after previously getting 'in transit'.

If you go to the track and trace part of TNT site and enter your number, it finds the item but shows status as 'please call'........BUT, if you follow the link for Apple customers, and then put your tracking number into that open box field, you get 'in transit' instead - which will soothe your nerves instantly!
