Yeah I'm getting the same don't know why. In leeds btw

It simply means the International carrier (Syncreon) has passed it to the UK delivery company - currently looks like UK Mail, TNT and UPS...

Try using your "Reference Number" (from the Syncreon website) - then enter it on the UKMail/UPS/TNT websites...

That worked for others and worked for my UK Mail parcel...

Finally started tracking just over an hour ago.

I have a damn work experience interview tomorrow as well at 1pm. Dayummmmm you Jobcentre, dayummmmmm youuuuuu!

Mines tracking now on TNT. In transit in Nuneaton. Had to call Apple automated service for the number. Did say '' Please Call'' on the UK version of TNT but international and the app on my iPhone tell me where it is and the status.

Just called UKMail with regards to why my order has a status of 'Delayed' and changed delivery date from 16/03 to 19/03. Am based in London.

The customer rep has stated that he is not aware of any issues on their network, and the package was collected this morning to be sent to the main Birmingham depot, for further distribution to local areas tonight.

The system message is an error apparently, and it should still be on schedule to be delivered tomorrow.

Getting Excited Now

Sleepless night tonight then! When i get a delivery from UPS it has always been before 10am! it must be down to where we are located on his route but i won't be holding out for that tomorrow! but i hope :D

Alas, I have an apple store gift card which I couldn't use to pre-order so have to queue up tomorrow! Apologies not read all 900 odd posts on here but if the 4S experience is anything to go by, the apple.com/uk website information can be a little out of date when you are tracking your package. If you go to the US site, it can be more up to date. And even better, the courier. Which if you are a little intrepid and play around with your order numbers etc, you may be able to get into your delivery info before Apple emails you the tracking number! Apologies if I am re-iterating stuff others have said already. Good luck all.

My status with TNT is 'Exemption' - anyone know what that means? It has been like that for a couple of hours now.

What is this phone number to get a new tracking number from? Tried searching but there were too many results that didn't give the number itself.

Thanks for your help. :)

Yes, my tracker says it is misrouted. Potentially may be because it is not going to its expected depot (Docklands) but if it's an input error, then it could say anything and it wouldn't make sense.

Sit and hope I guess... and trust that the customer service people know what's happening - they know more than we do I guess

Terrorbyte thats really interesting to know

I also found the above through another forum you need the consigmnent number off the UKMAIL site it gives a bit more information of what is happening status and where things stand in the timeline... see if that helps you fella

same here too - disturbingly my apple shipment notification email said:

We expect your order to be delivered to your shipping address on or before 20/03/2012.

so this is making me mildly paranoid about it not making it tomorrow after all...

Ah not just me then ;) it seems some UPS orders are now in transit.

Thats intersting se what it says using the consignment number off UKMAIL in this tracking site http://www.business-post.com/scripts/wsisa.dll/ws_quickpod.html

My Track & Trace info from Syncreon... I don't understand it at all !!!!! Anyone in UK is getting the same info from them ?? My apple store page saying my expected delivery date is 13-mar as well .. but it's the 15th already !!

Central Glasgow, Btw.

Mine is identical to yours.

The number I was given on the automated service isn't even being accepted by the TNT website! At least the one in my original email is now showing up, even if it is as the elusive "Exemption".

Anyone have any clues?
