this is painful. Can't stay at work much longer as we close early on a Friday so need to consider sticking around here as we're close to the depot but that'd mean an afternoon/evening at the Trafford Centre. Serious hit on the wallet potential!

oh just a few miles from me. Im in Peasedown st John and mine is coming from UK mail based in FROME so i just rang them and its coming at 2.30 pm!! Hope you get yours soon too.

For what it's worth, this digital constipation is killing me too-wtf is taking UK Mail so long? Its been on their van since 9:00am.

Knock at door thought yes but no was courier to pick up my old iPad which sold to asda recycle so hurry up uk mail anybody in stoke on Trent had there's yet
UPDATE UPDATE ....... rang UK mail local depot and im told it will be with me about 2.30 pm!!!! I hope to God its worth the wait!

I'm not waiting for an iPad, i'm sticking with my 2 for now (although there are plenty in stock at Tesco's in Woodbridge), but I just thought I'd post how entertaining this entire thread is, it's kept me amused for hours now.

Just received my new iPad. TNT to SW. and it still says on the website shipment received at the destination depot. Good luck for the rest of you.. restore time
I live in a small culdesac, and it is amazing how often a bloody car door shuts or a car pulls up, even though there is only like 13 houses of mostly elderly people live here.
Every 5 minutes a car door shuts and I think its my iPad. No idea what on earth is going on out there. I do not notice it usually.

Anyone waiting for UK Mail deliveries in East Anglia? I'm in Lowestoft waiting for my first iPad, was on the van at 06:29 today, still no sign. Most frustrating bit is that in-laws on the other side of town have had theirs via TNT and UPS already. Sigh. Why did mine have to be UK Mail?
Still, am lucky to a) be getting one and b) have a delivery date for today. Just frustrating too!

Just an update; my iPad arrived just before noon. UK Mail tracking service still says it's in Birmingham though so if you're expecting yours today, don't lose hope!

I've seen a couple of people's replies on here that describe my situation perfectly: looking out the window every time a car door shuts and every time I hear a diesel van.
Called Syncreon and quite frankly he was just rude.
Why Apple aren't using UPS like they did for my iMac I'll never know.

I just called TNT and they told me my shiny new iPad is sitting in the security cage at the Aberdeen depot.
They said if I want to go and collect it then I need to call Apple. I think I might, I'm off work today and the depot is only 10 minute drive away.

You'd think that if you Pre ordered, your package would arrive before regular folks are able to breeze into an Apple Store, Best Buy, etc, and buy one. I could've done just that, and be using a new iPad by now.
