Have often had parts from UK Apple store in packages with sender stated as Syncreon. Wasn't the courier.
Mine just updated to Preparing for shipment.

I pre-ordered an iPad early on the 8th March, then I canceled it and ordered it again about 11 O'clock on the same day.
The £399's still on hold from the first order though.
Anyone know how long it'll take for the money to clear and for Apple to be able to take the payment?
I know I've got a pretty slim chance of actually getting the iPad by the 16th, although it still says 'delivers on March 16th'.

Got my shipped email. Delivering through UPS. However the tracking code Apple have given me is only 10 digits long, and when I track it with the UPS website it says:
"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."
Anyone else having a similar experience?

The one I ordered on the 8th March has shipped but the one I ordered on the 7th March (yes the 7th March!) hasn't as yet

Wonder how couriers are assigned. I know of one business in the UK that when shipping puts each and every deliver out to tender to all the parcel delivery companies and pick the cheapest on an order by order basis. Therefore

White wifi iPad 64Gb shipped via UPS. I'm located in Bedfordshire.
Feel sorry for the guys who's iPads deliveries are being pushed back. Didnt order mine until 8.30am on the 8th and was gonna wait a few days to think it over. so glad I didn't.
May consider a 3 MiFi in the future. Anyone got any experience of using one with an iPad and whether they opted for contract or PAYG?

BOOO... i ordered 7th March at 23:50 and mine is just saying "Preparing for Shipment"!!!

Mine shipped at around half five this morning.
Syncreon, too. They delivered my MBP, I waited till around 6pm that day, hopefully it was just a one-off.

Shipped, ordered at 0040 on the 8th. Funnily enough I also got a text from Apple on my phone saying "delivery on or before 16th". May get it a day early like the iPad1, who knows!
I'm also Syncreon, never heard of them. How late in the day they deliver is surely just a matter of where you appear on their route?

I bought one to use with my first gen iPad, works perfectly well. I had the PAYG option as only used it occasionally. The only downside for me with that the battery only lasted three hours. I'm sure the newer models will have greater battery life though. Planning on using it with my new iPad too

Yeah, I got same. When I preordered the ipad 1 I got that a day early, on the Thursday. I remember watching the news on the Friday, iPad in hand, and seeing all the insane queues and thinking BWAHAha!
