Tracking change
Mine now saying "picked up" (from Ontario, California). Delivery changed from 3/12 to 3/16. Crossing my fingers that it gets to Seattle earlier. iPad 2 sold, deliver to new buyer today...

I live in Tampa, but Im going to drive to Nashville and camp outside the Fed-ex location. Im going to follow the fed ex truck, to location to truck until it arrives at my house.
Placed my order (32GB WiFi + AT&T 4G LTE White) on March 7, 2012 at 10:56 PM.
I got an shipping confirmation at March 12, 2012 at 2:23 AM
Ship date: Mar 11, 2012
Estimated delivery: Mar 16, 2012 by 3:00 PM
Mar 11, 2012 11:55 PM: Shipment information sent to FedEx
Mar 11, 2012 7:56 PM: Picked up ONTARIO, CA Future delivery requested
Entered system this morning in Ontario, Calif. at 6am, so units were bulk-shipped from China and arrived at a distribution center prior to FedEx pick up. Shipment will be delivered by Friday 3/16 at 3pm in San Francisco!
Originally ordered Verizon 64GB White but changed my mind about midnight east coast time and ordered an AT&T version both on the 7th. Still getting it by Friday!

Actually yes it does. I guess I will know tomorrow morning when FedEx updates overnight whether that delivery date changes or not.
Keep us posted. Would be curious to see if some of these get delivered early or not, seems almost impossible for FEDEX and UPS to be able to deliver them all on friday. Considering there is probably a million or more to deliver.
I just received a shipment notice for a 64GB WiFi+4G (AT&T) black. The tracking number does not yet show any information. I'm sure that will update soon.

Weird that they are shipped separately. I guess they fulfill them from where they can.

My Apple TV is still processing too. I wonder if they are more worried about the ipads right now.

i ordered mine soon after the pre-orders started and my wifes 2 hrs later. My wife got her tracking number on Sunday and i got mine today.
Personally i think this is all bull ****. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. I hope we all get our on time. If not we will get them shortly. This is the most crazy launch ever, almost as bad as the nintendo Wii launch, but apple is more organized

My vzw 64gb 4g white still hasn't moved from prepare for shipment since late Friday night. Has anyone with the same model shipped to the PA/NJ/NY area? I was thinking that maybe it hadn't shipped yet because there is a Middletown, pa location and I'm fairly close so they are waiting to ship it.
It doesn't matter when you get your tracking number. Hers won't come first because it received a tracking number first. You were promised a 3/16 delivery and that's what everybody who ordered on 3/7 will get.
Why would you say this is the most crazy launch ever? Its not March 16th which Apple said is when you get your iPad. So what if the the carrier tracking system is a little backed up. Just wait til the 16th there's no good obsessing about it.

Mine still says Processing eventhough I ordered on March 7th. Not to worried just yet.
Still processing here too. Ordered on 3/7 at 6:00 pm EST. 64 gb ATT Black. Not worried here either. There is a pending charge on my credit card still, and has been since I placed the order last week.
