yup, just sitting back and relax right now because we cant due nothing. Now say wed/thur and I see no change, all hell will break out :D
 
Just got my shipping notification and tracking number for UPS. Woohoo!

Should mention I got the black 32gb wi-fi model and live in Canada.

Mine is here in Nashville.It went from preparing to ship, to showing as picked up. It says shipped on Mar 11, 2012 but doesn't show it being shipped from anywhere. I also found it interesting under service type it shows as standard overnight adult signature required. Oh well hope it comes early , but I am guessing I will see it on the 16th.

They can do it. The iPhone 4S was a larger rollout and they handled it.

Ordered my black 32gb on Friday the 9th, around 2pm , web said would ship by the 19th, with approx delivery March 22. Received a ship notice from Apple, that my ipad shipped 3-10-12 with tracking number thru Fed Ex. When I click on tracking # it says shipment info sent to fed ex 3-10-12 11:36am, picked up Middleton Pa 03-10-12 at 11:49 (16 minutes later). According to my delivery date, its 3-16-12 , by 3pm . So I'm assuming that large amounts of ipads were stored at Fed Ex instead of apple, and they go out and put a sticker on the box, which then becomes mine ? Any thoughts ?
 
Anyone who ordered either late on the 8th or on the 9th get past the Processing stage? I ordered about 9am on Friday. I'm finally secure about getting it on Friday, but still would like to see it get past Processing.

I ordered on Friday as well. It says Preparing for Shipment from the the past 48+ hours. iPad 16GB wifi White. NY.

I'd be happy to just get the tracking number so I can just be sure I'm getting it :D
 
Mine said it SHIPPED on the 9th....I think I'm ahead of a good amount of people :D










too bad we all get it at the same time

See above, I ordered the 9th around 2 or 3 pm, after the date slipped to the 19th. I received notice that it shipped on the 10th, and set to receive by 3-16 by 3pm. My guess is there are certain amounts of stock in each region, and I must have gotten lucky that there was still stock in the midwest. Only reason I can think, since I wasnt supposed to ship till 19th ?

If you go pay cash for a new car, do you let the dealership designate when you can drive it off the lot? Well Apple, as I sit and review my FedUp tracking confirm that the shipment has been sent, but without any new scans or real status updates, this little video seems rather appropriate. By Friday I will look like Jack Nicholson talking to himself over the typewriter.

I guess this gives me hope for launch date delivery.

I ordered mine about 3pm on friday. Also showed ship date of March 19th and delivery date of March 22. On the order page, it now shows same ship date, but now a delivery date of March 23rd.

so here's to hoping i get a surprise email with a tracking # saying it shipped :)

but im still figuring ill see it next week.

That makes sense. I am hoping mine gets past the Processing stage sometime today.
 
My fedex tracking number just went live. I've had it since Saturday night. Shows it sitting in Nashville with a delivery friday by 3.

I guess I won't be doing much "tracking" since I live IN nashville. I liked it more when I could track the plane from China.

I know the feeling. I wonder if they will put them on the truck to be delivered any earlier than Friday? I doubt it. I took off Friday to watch some March Madness and wait for my iPad.
