The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

Someone asked about separate tracking numbers for two ordered at the same time. We ordered a 64GB WiFi and a 64GB AT&T, both black, ordered on the same order number. The 64GB AT&T was still processing until this morning, the 64GB WiFi was marked as shipped on Friday, and now both are shipped and with separate tracking numbers. Will be plugging hubbies in for him to make sure it's good and charged when he gets home from work Friday, I'll be working at home until the toys arrive...
 
Mine went from Processing (Wed) to Preparing for Shipment (Friday) to Shipped sometime this morning. I got up to get a drink of water at 4am and happened to check (nerdy, i know) and it was still in Preparing for Shipment, but by the time I got to work this morning, I had the Shipped email confirmation.

I ordered white 64gb ATT 4G. Wish I could fast forward to Friday. :)

Well if you think about it, the fact that your standing in line at the store and half a million people already have the ipad in their hands is a little less 'special' than knowing that you were there at the store at launch day and got your on the same day as everyone else.

Anyway, who knows. I can't think of anything else why they would hold out.
 
just got off the phone with Apple Customer Service. The gentleman explained that orders shipped March 9 have not updated in their system as of yet.
 
I placed order today and the status now says it will ship in April 2nd :eek:
This is the first time I order online, is the shipping date fixed or there is a chance to be improved?
I ordered 64G black 4G iPad :D
 
FedEx just removed their delivery estimate off of my order. Probably because it's after March 12th 3:00PM :D

I currently don't have a new delivery estimate.
 
simple curious question, but if you got the LTE model and when you are traveling to any area that doesnt get LTE, will it just work on 3G.

My iPad 3 is on its way...can't wait!

Anyone else feel like them vzw white iPads are the slowest to get shipping statuses? I ordered a 64g vzw white around 4pm est on the 7th and its been sitting at preparing to ship for 60 hours now.

black 64gb vzw here, still in processing. not even there yet.

ordered with in an hour after the stores went online, 16gb white ATT 4g.

My tracking hasnt updated into the system yet! only been about 30 hours since they said it shipped on march 11th.


man this week is going to take a long time :/

how long did it take for your tracking to work!?
