Question. Does my "Delivery Exception" time stamp at 9:25am also represent the "On FedEx Vehicle For Delivery" update? I'm not worried about getting it today, just wondering if it's on a truck finally since it's 10:06am now. Never seen out for delivery time stamps this late. lol!
I don't know what that means in your case, but delivery exceptions have never been good for me in the past.

I got the first iPad delivery in Center City, Philadelphia!
My driver said they had about 700 to deliver in the downtown part of the city alone. Eesh.

If you use the Yahoo tracker it gives you a more current update on your iPads delivery status. According to that, my iPad is on the truck ready for delivery and should be here in my city within a half hour.

Hi neighbor, I'm also in Westminster and just got off the phone with Fedex when I saw the delivery exception. Ive had the issue before with Fedex where they reported a delivery attempt, when they actually hadn't, So I was ready to go postal. The lady then explained they had an agreement with Apple to extend the delivery estimates out to 8 pm. I have to leave at 5, so heres to hoping. Hope you get yours soon also...

My iPad has been out for delivery since 7:31am and it's estimated to be delivered by 3:00pm. Now the real wait begins! So excited!
Mine says Out for deliver also but 3:54 AMI just woke up at 6:30 AM PST! I went outside and it looks like there's no note but what is the chance that the driver knocked and left without leaving a note? They had to leave a note right? And why did the tracking info updated like that, no warning or anything that it arrived in the destination facility. I mean it's good that the drive is out for delivery already that early but I do hope that the driver didn't leave without leaving a note.
Is the tracking info updated when the driver update their tracker thingy right away or the tracking info only updates when the driver gets back to their facility?
Really? You do realize that "Out for Delivery" is not the same as "Delivered"?
My tracking info says "Delivery exception," with the added details "Future delivery requested" as of 8:39 am this morning. Not sure why it says that. I'm hoping that it's either a glitch in the system and that my iPad will arrive later today, or that it at least goes back to the local warehouse (only a few minutes from my home) so I can pick it up after work. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait and see.

Update: Yahoo Tracker shows it leaving Fed Ex ramp as of 5:45am. So, at least it's on the move!

On the fedex.com site, mine shows "At destination sort facility" but on the Yahoo site it shows that it "Left Fedex Ramp" at 4:30am. Interesting.
Today's like Christmas...but it only starts when the Fedex man rings the doorbell.

Don't worry, I'm in California too and their systems don't usually update until 9:00 AM or so.
