I stopped by the Columbia apple store and they had plenty of iPad in stock

Hi neighbor, I'm also in Westminster and just got off the phone with Fedex when I saw the delivery exception. Ive had the issue before with Fedex where they reported a delivery attempt, when they actually hadn't, So I was ready to go postal. The lady then explained they had an agreement with Apple to extend the delivery estimates out to 8 pm. I have to leave at 5, so heres to hoping. Hope you get yours soon also...

Hey thanks for the reply. I stopped by the apple and best buy stores today and they had plenty in stock. To bad we didn't know FedEx would do this and we could be using them right now. I will let u know

fed Ex always seems to be notoriously slower in my area. My UPS deliveries are usually here early. My iPad 1st ten was here by 9:30AM. At my job, UPS comes around 10:00-ish.

Fed Ex is always late afternoon for my home and around 2:00-ish at my job.

Apple researched the delivery times of various carriers in all locations and deliberately chose the later one.

Well, I went to FedEx yesterday and put a hold on my iPad so I could pick it up at 9am on my way to a meeting 40 miles away at 10am. I get a call from a lovely FedEx employee telling me that my shipment was taken by the driver on accident, but that I could meet up with him. Unfortunately, I didnt have the time to do that. So now, I am hoping that when it returns for the day, I will be able to pick it up. :/. She did say they were pretty light today and that it should be back at the facility at a reasonable time.
 
there is a house 2 streets over with the exact same address as my house. ups/FedEx just love to deliver my things to said house. the people who live at the house never return our packages (without us going over there and arguing withthem that they have it) and say its to teach the delivery companies a lesson...
 
Bah, it's only 8:30 AM here but my iPad got to the "local FedEx facility" at 7 am and it isn't out for delivery yet.

They're teaching them a lesson by punishing someone in their neighborhood?! How terrible. Hope they get your delivery right today.
 
out for delivery... not happy seeing posts about issues but I am hoping for a perfect iPad, anything less will be returned until its right.

Yep got to love dust under the screen, such a big spot too. To bad I had a custom engraving that instantly makes it that much more of a hassle.
