Black 32gb wifi w/ green smart cover! Finally!
I got the confirmation email too... I wasn't able to select the faster shipping method but the email says "Delivers on March 16 by Standard Shipping"... does that mean this sucker is going to be in my hands on the 16th?

At last moment before confirmation the site crashed! But, checked email and there was the order. Thank You Steve! Now I can stay home on the 16th.

Finally! Was trying using iPhone Apple Store app but kept getting booted. Then tried various browsers. I got pretty far through the Education page at my school before getting ousted. Finally got through using Chrome and got in through the iPad page pre-order button, not the Store tab. Yeah me!

For people who are on the iPad color and size selection and have no "continue" button on the right or whatever it's called, just wait or refresh your page...it's up to you.
It WILL show up, it just needs to load that button after you've made your selection...given how the site is getting hammered right now, it will take some time. What I did was let that page load and let it sit for a bit. Then when I selected black/32, the "continue" button showed up instantly.
For anyone who doesn't have a card on file with their account, I recommend opening up iTunes and adding your card through the store. That's what I just did, because I've never purchased anything off the Apple Store.
Boom just got my confirmation email...about 12 minutes, if my timing is right.
If I have time, I will try to try again and see if colors load for the smart covers. But yeah - for now, during the selection process, let the page load a bit. Give it some time. I'll be around for a bit to try and help out.

ok I was able to place additional orders on another browser I am officially done. I am sure one order will get cancelled as I exceeded there maximum well see. Good Luck to all

Yes, for most pre-orders if you get it in time, it will be delivered to you on the 16th! There is no need to select any faster shipping method because the 16th is the earliest you can get

Finally just said **** it and went back out to the store. Then I checked my cart and had 6 of the iPads I wanted in my cart. Now I'm checking out.

It took 45mins including multiple refreshes, but a Black 64 GB, AT&T LTE with a Tan cover is in route as well as a new Apple TV to display it on. Be patient, everyone is trying to get theirs for delivery on the 16th, I am amazed that their servers are even handling the load at all.
