The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

Are they not available to be pre ordered for pickup in store? Is it just delivery only? Saying not eligible for pickup... Kinda silly for those that wanna pay cash.
 
Best way for me to get through was my mbp - phone (voice) and iphone and iPad2 were not getting through. white 64 No email yet and it's been a while. I think we're hitting the backup now. I need it on the 16th.

Oh - online free engraving said it would deliver on the 16th too. So I did.
 
FINALLY. got the confirmation email.

but i forgot to add apple care +, how do i go about this? is it the same method as the iphone 4s?
 
Finally. Been trying to complete order since the Store came back up (for me), about an hour or so.

edit: Just got credit card email and SMS alert for the charge going over my trigger amount. (1349 PST)
 
Snagged up two; 64 GB Verizon LTE and 16 GB AT&T LTE. Emails received!
 
I was finally able to order mine, 64GB LTE BLK

I could not get through via Apple website, so i went to my credit card website and used my rewards webasite where I get an extra point for using their site and I got through with ease.
 
i ordered mine...already got the confirmation email but my browser page still says processing order...im scared to close the page...so ill prolly just let it sit here overnight...fixin to leave work...you guys thinks its just a server thing?...i should be good to go with the email shouldnt i?
 
whats wrong with the UK preorders at the moment? store hasnt even been online.
 
Finally!!!! Accidentally, the system ordered two 16GB Whites with AT&T LTE :rolleyes: Showed only ONE in cart!!

Got order confirmation for both in 5 minutes!!!

Phew.. That was CRAZEEEEEY and way too frustrating especially considering the seller's ability to manage web traffic, and prior history!

Shame on you Apple for once again screwing up the pre-ordering process!!

Wow that was painful it kept timing out or going to a oops page for like 30 minutes.
But I finally got my confirmation for a shiny new iPad 16 GB.
:D
