My white 64GB Verizon is still processing. I ordered very shortly after the store reopened for the second time on the 7th, I received my email confirmation at 3:50 PM EST.

After experiencing the orders for every version of the iPhone and also of the iPads I have learned that there is, from our viewpoint, no rhyme or reason for what units and when those units go through...

Anyone in the Southern California area still stuck on preparing for shipment?

Yup. They must have stock near us so they don't need to ship them out ASAP. For our sake, I hope that's the case. I ordered 32gb white wifi at 1pm PST after the keynote.

Though DC and NY/NJ residents are getting theirs shipped from PA which is really close...

My estimated delivery per FedEx is Mar 12, 2012 by 3:00 PM, but I do have the "Future delivery requested" note.

I wonder why the Verizon models are taking so long to go to shipping...

Me too. This is bunk. Not that I stand a chance of getting it before the 16th but I'd still like to see progress.

32GB Black Verizon LTE ordered early yesterday after initially ordering wifi on Wednesday.

I wonder why the Verizon models are taking so long to go to shipping...

I'm assuming un-engraved models are in stock at US regional distribution centers and won't need to shipped until early next week, to meet a Friday delivery.

My Black 32GB Verizon has been "in processing" since 3:30 PST on the 7th.

Me too. Same model/size/cell provider. Same status. Processing.

Same Hhere...Processing

People, they will all be delivered on the 16th, and no earlier.

We go through this every time.

They ship them so that that the local hubs have them for the 16th. The boxes are clearly labeled and all the hubs no the score. Apple is a huge presence and the carriers do NOT **** around. So, all this stuff is moot.

Why don't we all relax and sing a song, eh? :) iPad, oh iPad... How I love you little thing......

I just posted this in one of the sections I don't think many will read... For people who are interested. :)

I'm happy to report that I just got my shipping notification for my black WiFi 32gb :D:D:D:D

Fed Ex is delivering and the best part.... It's says it was already picked up in Ontario, CA :p:D

Makes me feel a little better, because it seems some peoples shipping conformation show it's still in China....but mine is in Cali... Yay!!

I'm in Portland, OR and whenever something has shipped from CA on a Friday...I almost always get it 1-2 days before "delivery date". Which does show the 16th as delivery date

In any event, Fed Ex always delivers to my place by 9-10am. I'm am SOOOOOOOOO excited about my very first Apple product. I needed a change from Android & Windows.

Fed Ex says the "Service Type", is "Standard Overnight - Indirect". Hmmmm...please that means what it sounds like it means. I did not choose overnight shipping, but it sure does sound like that? Probably normal i would imagine though....

Weight: 3.0lbs

Ii think I'll be making Fed Ex's tracking page my home page for the next few days

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!

FYI...I did order it on Wed at about 1:30pm.

Ordered Launch day about 3 hours after Apple Store went live. Surprised I got through!

Ship notice today from Apple for my 64GB Black Wifi iPad. via FedEx.

Picked up
NASHVILLE, TN
Ship date Mar 9, 2012
Estimated delivery Mar 12, 2012 by 3:00 PM
Future delivery requested
Service type: Standard Overnight

Hope they make a mistake and don't see the Future delivery request. :)

Interesting it's coming from Nashville. Looks like they stacked a bunch here in the US. I was expecting to see China as the origin.

If things work like the last few years, mostly the iPads shipping from China will have shipping notices go out in the next few days. The iPads they have stashed at distributions centers in the US will get shipping notices Tuesday or Wednesday. No need to panic yet. :)
