The New iPad Pre-Order Status Thread (USA) - All Models

1x 64GB/Black/AT&T ordered 3/7 1:20p pacific - processing
1x 64GB/Black/VZW ordered 3/7 3:20p pacific - processing
Both to southern california... have any LTE 64GB ipads shipped or moved past processing?
 
Mine has shipped via Fedex. Shows picked up in Nashville TN, with an estimated delivery date of March 12th by 3:00pm. Maybe they are delivering in a staggered manner to keep the drivers from being overhelmed on Friday and guarantee that they get delivered "BY" Friday afternoon.

The ones that get them early are supposed to use the honor system and not open them until Friday......Yeah, that's the ticket.

You will not be getting your iPad on Monday. Apple has the shippers holding them so that they all get delivered on the 16th. You might get it a day early but not four.
 
16th should be a wild day . . .

. . . with all of us trying to activate the accounts. Hope ATT is up to it.

A couple smaller ones. But I haven't seen any 64gb yet. (I ordered one too) :D

Why not go to Fedex once you see it at the facility and see if you can pick up your package? Can they really withhold it from you just because Apple says so?
 
Processed iPad

My 64g-White-4G/wifi - not engraved that was ordered early on the 7th has been processing so long that I fear it will arrive looking like this.....:eek:

Mine is just about to British Columbia, I'm in Vancouver for a week so I decided to risk it and have it delivered to my hotel !

Yes, they'll make the delivery date for 99.999% of us, including you :) It's still fun to be nervous and slightly (extremely, for me) neurotic about it though.

FYI, my order from the 7th has the same status.

I am in the same boat as you. Ordered today at around 2:30AM, order set for the 16th marked in process. Got the pre-auth for $1 but no confirmation email. I'm seeing that people who ordered on the 7th are still getting their orders shipped so I am not panicking, but this is my first time ordering an Apple product.

Black 32GB Wi-Fi in NYC, by the way.

You are most likely 100% right. I do live in a big city though. They could have hundreds if not thousands to deliver in one city on one day. with that many individual extra stops the drivers would make on a day like the 16th, maybe they will deliver some early. Wishful thinking I know, but throw a dog a bone!! :)

I'm fairly certain they hold them at the sort facility and don't send them out to the local hubs until they are on schedule for delivery. I live in Athens, GA and mine is sitting at the facility in Nashville (about 4 hours away) right now according to tracking.

My guess is that it will continue to sit there til around Wednesday.

I talked to apple support and they are going to manually send the confirmation email to me. Said my order shows as processing because they haven't charged my card yet and are still slogging through the pre-orders and that there are no issues with my order and I should receive the ipad on the 16th.

Just sucks to have to wait for movement on the order. :)

Ditto - just got the shipping email for my black 64GB VZ model too. Fedex, number isn't working yet.
