My Incase broke after my iPod fell off my bed which is like 1.5 metres off the ground and now I has no iPod 🙁

They'll probably have the lineup like they do now except with price cuts:
32GB 3Gen - $99
32GB 4Gen - $199 or $249
64GB 4Gen - $299 or $349
I dont think they will have a $99 iPod Touch, that would be pretty ridiculous. I would love a $199 iPod Touch 4G 32GB!

That link is almost a year old.....not credible really....plus the iPod Touch cost $199 at standard.. I don't think apple would raise the price...

one thing I will bet my last penny on is that the new ipod touch will have a gyroscope and I would bet a fair lot of money that it will have the iphone 4s display, why?
simply because this ensures full app compatibility as the ipod touch is a direct competitor to the psp/ds apple will make sure the touch can play all of the latest games, and remember apple make money on all apps sold and now make money on every iAd viewed, they make ZERO money on facetime so their first priority will not be that even though I think it will be included, remember they are a business and there sole aim is to make money and the only way they make more money after the consumer has bought the ipod is by selling them apps and making them view iAds.

I total agree with the display & gyroscope, but although apple may make ZERO money today on facetime it will be monetized in the future.

For those who are saying "There will not be a 199 model", put a sock in it.
Apple never raised prices (Mac Mini is one exception) and probably never will. There is no reason why Apple would turn away budget customers just because they want to "make the iPod Touch line more unified".
Infact, if the new iPod Touch (with camera) is 229, I would be the first the grab it because my current iPod Touch is worth 200 dollars, that means I will only have to shell out 20 - 30 dollars! 😉
Stop complaining, if it comes, it comes, if it doesn't, boycott Apple, which will not happen 😉

Im not saying there wont, im saying its possible. They will release a $199 model, whether or not it has everything the upper models do is up to Apple.
only way they can monetize it is like skype do and bring in a charge to call landlines and I suspect the vast majority of users will continue to only use the free way like most do on skype.
because there is no money to be had from it, but I do think they will include it in because they want to push the format.

On features,I would like from the Iphone,the retina,processor,and RAM.I think,that if a camera is included it'll be the one from the 3GS in the back.Not sure about the front though.
That would still be a very worthy upgarde to me with those features(even with no cams).I hope there will be a 16GB 4th generation,but I doubt it.More than likely same format as last year except maybe for a 16 instead of the 8.

The only thing I know is if they want to make the most money it would be in Apple's best interest to release a huge touch update this September. I am assuming they are going to want most current touch owners to salivate over this device and want it like none other especially those who have the 8GB 2nd/3rd gen touch. They have to give enough incentive to update, if they only include minimal features like upgraded display, upgraded ram and gyro then the current touch owners won't have any incentive to update and they will lose money cause people won't upgrade.
For cases I hope they take the same design as the iPhone 4 and apply it to the iPod touch 4 because then touch buyers would have a large selection of cases available right at the start.

They could charge for video voicemail/email or have a Go To Meeting clone (iMeeting) for the millions of devices. There could be iAds in Facetime calls or gps based suggestions. And doesn't Apple get a cut from all the apps that will use the front camera that aren't free.
