128GB would actually be a very good thing, especially for me. I have so much video, and that is what the iPod touch is best at. My 80GB 5th gen was chock full of video and it wasn't even holding my full library. My 16GB 1st gen touch is still not bad, but having to choose TV shows when I could rather have entire seasons, is not something I prefer.

Actually this is wrong. A case could have the hole on top because the companies took into the consideration of the Ambient Light Sensor. I know this, because my case has a hole at the exact spot of the sensor...
I made a mockup of it out of the iPhone 4 pic, and it came out okay.

I personally think that the new iPod Touch will have a major refresh this September. I predict that the Apple iPod Event will be held September 8th this year, since it is the day after the Apple Back To School program ends, and last year the iPod Event was held the day after the Back To School program on the 9th of September. Here is what I think the new iPod Touch will have:
New Capacities: Comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. No 128GB model this year since the iPhone 4 didn't get a memory bump. Probably next year.
New Prices: 16GB-$199, 32GB-$249 or $279, $64GB-$349 or $379
Changed design: Possible aluminum enclosure similar to the iPad's design, or something similar to the iPhone 4 but not made out of glass, but more squared off. We will most likely see an updated design because Apple doesn't usually stick to the same design for 3 refreshes straight, as we have seen with the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS which had the same design for 2 years but then dramatically changed with the iPhone 4 with it's new design.
3.5" Retina 960x640 Resolution display on high end 32GB, 64GB models, same resolution 3.5" display on 16GB base model.
Gyroscope
Front facing camera (Steve Jobs noted that there would be 10 million FaceTime "DEVICES" sold this year) Which basically means, that there is a possibility that the new iPod Touch could have a FaceTime front facing camera on the higher end 32GB and 64GB models.
Possibe Rear Camera (Sources say the new iPod Touch 4G could have the iPhone 3GS's 3.2MP camera, and I strongly believe that the new iPod Touch will have it because if it had the new 5MP camera, it would have too many features borrowed from the iPhone 4.

We are indeed hoping,but I still think the base 4G will be 32 @ $299.And it probably will have retina,A4 and gyro,maybe more RAM,and also maybe cams,but if it didn't have cams it wouldn't bother me.

They previewed the iPhone 4! No fair...Err... There were NEVER previews of the iPod touch on Apple's website either until after they announce it. The Apple Online store is usually "Down For Maintenance" whenever there is an Apple event.

It's possible some people don't want to be disappointed if the final product doesn't meet our expectations/wishlists. All of these expectations are just hopes and wishes. Apple doesn't want to tip their hand to an upgrade until the very last moment. Any confirmation would dry up sales of current models. We will probably find out in early September what the new iPod Touch will look like. I am crossing my fingers that some of the items on our wishlists will be on there.
Exactly, I bought a 8GB model because I thought it will be enough. But now I see that more would be nice, because I have more videos and photos than I planned/expected.

Everybody knows that when Apple confirms the "iPod Touch 4G Specs", this thread is going to stop buzzing, right? Well when that happens, i am going to transform this into a 5G thread, because its already popular.
