Im sure in the gap between releases, this thread will get moved to the wasteland and will be abandoned, thus you will have to start a new thread for the release of the 5G 6G and so forth.

That would suck... then i guess we should just keep it busy with thoughts about what will be added to the iPod Touch.

Simply because the highest capacity model for iphone 4 is 32GB. If they released a iphone 64GB then and only then we would see ipod touch get a 128GB model. The reason iPod touch is able to have twice the capacity is it's able to fit 2 memory chips because the iPod doesn't have the cellular phone chip and in turn in it's place goes a memory chip.

Well, to keep this going, you would have to edit the first post to direct to the "new section post" and change the title to: iPod Touch 4th Generation Raves and Rants or something along the lines of that. And when predictions start again, edit the first post to direct to the another section start post. And so forth...

BTW - A section post is any ordinary post, but you have to make it so that people know to "ditch the old topic and talk about the new one".

Consider that to be your target. all of them had about 250 pages of posts before being closed and a new section being started. so whats that, 25 posts a page, 250 pages, 6.5 sections, thats about 40,000 posts

If they got a 128gb model it would put it in the 499 range. Where the iPad lives.... And are there any flash based MP3 players that have 128gb of storage anyways? Why would anyone even need that much space anyways?

hopefully it goes above 64 gb, ideally the 32 would become the 199 price point. I also would like to see 4G capability through verizon on their new LTE network thats set to launch sometime this fall or early winter which would go perfect with a september launch of a new IPod. It'd be like an IPad but smaller and with connectivity from anywhere. It'd be perfect for gaming, streaming netflix or hulu, and facetime if the new ipod comes with a front facing and rear facing camera!! hopefully!

K, allen. You can only have one poll per thread and you have to have created the thread. If you are creating a thread then you will scroll down and there will be a checkbox saying "do you want a poll" and you check it, and then it will guide you through it. But if you want to add a poll to a thread you created you go to the thread, then you click on thread tools (in a blue bar) and it should say "add a poll" or something like that.

I dont think so.... Some people carry alot of video with them and it tends to take up a bunch of space.

Thats what ive been saying.... They will have their base model have a camera(s) and maybe some of the features but not all... Then the 32GB and the 64GB would get the camera(s) and all the features.
