look at this, these are supposed to be the new system specs. I got this from the french mac site, they claimed to have recieved an anonymous email from someone....what do you guys think?

Well you can already get 2.6Ghz Macbook pros, so those numbers are probably wrong.

The UK store is still up, so I guess that's possible. But more likely they just haven't got round to putting them offline yet.

Haha, maybe those countries with the stores already down have really slow Apple web teams...they needed a head start.

Agreed, but why isn't the US store down yet then? This definitely is not like the last 3 weeks...

So far the last few Tuesdays, when the US store goes down, it's always been around 3:30-3:45 AM PST. Maybe Apple is just trying to coordinate getting updates on the stores globally at around the same time? I'm sure we'll be seeing the US store go down around 3:30 AM PST.
Or maybe now the iPhones are going to be available in the stores that are currently being updated (if they weren't already available)?

Impossible, they've never introduced the iphone in so much countries at once. And new countries were always announced!
