Today is my deadline day. New MBP get announced, or I buy a refurb or something from ebay.

I'm not waiting any longer. It's up to Apple. It'll cost them £500 if they dont' announce a new product today.

I agree with this and I'm in the same position. If nothing comes today, I'll buy one off eBay and then Apple won't get any of my money at all!!!

I hope that some of that is wrong at least. No MBA keyboard on the new MBP please. All one color looks more professional IMO.

I received a DOA Macbook Pro yesterday. Took 3 days (BTO) for the completion and another 2 for the shipping.

However, the replacement is now taking 7 days for the assembly...
Also, if you order BTO versions in the online store, the assembly time is 5 days for ANY option you add (was 3 days before).

That's always a sure sign that the release of new models is imminent. Hope the replacement will already be a new one.
