The Night/Day Before Thread! [MacBookPro]

apparently some 02 stores in the uk have confirmed 16gig iphones in stock. that would be bad news for the rest of us awaiting MBP. it is possible that an iphone and mpb update could arrive simultaneously?

I actually disagree with this. The current gen MacPro was relased on a random tuesday, and the current MBP (Jun 2007) was released on a random tuesday as well. And if I'm not mistaken, the update to the MBP before that (Oct 06 I believe) was on a random tuesday.

How would you know when the UK store goes down? I can say for certain that the last couple of times the European stores went off-line only minutes after the US-store.

Anyway - there's no point in arguing here :) in about an hour we'll know.

As I posted before: since Apple is already delaying shipments of BTO Macbook Pros, a new version is imminent. They seem to be selling off the standard configuration as we speak (which is the only version that's available without a delay right now).

:eek:Ok Dutch website is still up, but honestly if this was only Iphone 16gb announcement wouldnt the UK, German, French websites be down aswell. I refuse to believe its only Iphone updates. Come on Stevie!!!! MACBOOK PROS!:D

When the pink iPod Nano was released, the UK store went down at EXACTLY 1PM (GMT). I know, I was waiting and refreshing the store like a menace!!!

when the pink iPod Nano was released, the Swiss store NEVER went offline. They just updated it without taking it off the air.
 
Ah....probably just the night custodian bumped into an important computer at Apple and pressed the wrong key...
 
indeed something is happening

it could just be the ultimate in disappointment
