How long until you guys think this will show up in the US iTunes store? I noticed they are putting up certain games from this season, surely this game has to make the cut, right?

Ugh...It would be nice if they offered it in HD on iTunes, please MacWorld

This is a no brainer. It will most likely be up in a few days. I wonder what the ratings were like for this....

The lack of HD is the only thing from stopping me from buying shows off iTunes.

Hey, how's the operating system coming along?

Hey, how's the operating system coming along?

The OS is slowly getting useable haha. It was hard this semester with school, internship, and hockey...but we have made some good progress. We have a very, very, very early and basic version of a GUI OS with the same features as that last update.....Its all for fun, so we'll see how much further it goes

Back on topic though, yeah, the lack of HD on the iTMS never bothered me before but watching that game today in HD with snowflakes on the camera lenses was just awesome...I don't think that I could watch it in SD after seeing it the way I did today.

MBHockey: I think the game recording is the property of NHL after it has aired, and Apple does have an agreement with the NHL. I am hoping, that would be fantastic.

I hope they put it up, but aren't Apple's and NBC's relations not so great at the moment?

I dunno. I don't pay that much attention to it.

The NHL would make a lot of cash if they did put it up though.

That's awesome! Glad to hear it's moving along. If you have a screen shots of it that would great (PM me if you do).

HD is the only way to watch anything now, especially sports. HD or nothing for me.

The Ice Bowl is now on iTunes!!! :D I am buying it right now, as it was awesome.

Just wanted to let you guys know!

Islanders and Canucks -- what a strange game! You may see Luongo let in one bad goal in a game, but I can't tell you the last time I saw two!

Still thrilling -- is DiPietro always that good or was this a standout game?

As a Rangers fan I can't really give you an honest opinion on DP... well I can, and I will, but first I'll say no he sucks.

Now for the real about DP. DP is a pretty good goalie, he's been the spine of the Islanders team this year. He's made many quality saves, and if it weren't for him really stepping up, they'd be in a pretty bad hole. His biggest problem is overly aggressive. His excellent stick handling is huge for the team, as he himself can start breakouts. But he makes some very stupid decisions at the wrong time, which definitely lowers his value.

For example, he tried to play the puck at the blue line one time, and got hammered in the head and suffered a concussion, leaving his team stranded with their mediocre backup goalie with the playoffs coming up. Or the most recent, his usage of unauthorized leg pads.

we haven't been doing all the great... that road trip was terrible and yesterdays came was just as bad. I left during the second period. I'm looking forward to making an even early train out of Penn on Thursday

I never said we were playing well lol. Idk what's wrong with them, they can score now, but they're giving too many opportunities and Hank doesn't look sharp.

If you dont wanna go tomorow I'll take the tickets lol.

The Leafs ...This is gonna get ugly

The game? Season? Joke of an excuse for management? All of the above?

The Leafs are favourite whipping boys of mine, but season has surprised even me ... I heard a comment on a call-in show recently -- "All the Leafs need is to plug a few holes ... 12 forwards, 6 defence, and 2 goalies should do it."

Unfortunately that is looking more true every day.

am i the only one who is wondering how LeClaire is not going to the all-star game? I am not a Jackets fan(I am a sharks fan) but he is having such a fantastic season overall and i think that he got completely snubbed.

And just so you all know-I am not thrilled that two of our best players (and even our coach) were picked-I would much rather have them sitting at home resting-or in the case of our coach let him go and play golf

I disagree with a couple of points on the quote you mention. One forward isn't a hole: Sundin. One goalie isn't a hole: Toskala. Everyone else is a huge disappointment. Tucker- 5-6 goals? Blake 6-7 goals? Antropov- 1st point last night in 12 games? Kaberle? Wellwood? Steen? Stajan? What happened to you guys? McCabe is lucky he broke his wrist.

I hate to say it, but it's time to cut our losses.
Trade Sundin, get a couple of players and a couple of picks, and trade anyone else worth anything that anyone wants.
Fire Ferguson- he's a disaster- and fire Maurice- the team clearly isn't responding to him anymore.
Bring in a new GM and allow him to bring in his own coaching staff, and give him the actual power to do things without board approval.

Unfortunately, the last thing I said probably won't happen, and that is why the Leafs will never win a Stanley Cup. If it does, then they have a fighting chance.

Finally, my Blues have put together back-to-back strong offensive games. Legace is great and all, but I'm kinda tired of the PA announcer saying, "And tonight's first star, stopping 26 of 27 shots..." :) It's about time they started putting the puck in the net again.

I know, and given the Canuck's history with goalies, we're going to be rubbing it in for a long time yet

:D

I've got to ask, because I've wondered this. How do Canucks fans feel about the Rangers? I ask because me and some of my Ranger fan friends were talking about this the other night... when you guys beat us lol.

As for the Canucks, they're one of my favorite western teams thanks to the partnership of Lungo and the Sedin twins. They're a great team to watch, especially against the flames, one of my other favorite western teams. Flames Canucks games are just great hockey.

well this thread is dying...
Anyone see the Richard Zednik incident? link
Any thoughts as the trade deadline is approaching?

I can't even bear to watch it. It made me sick just reading about it.

I remember when I was ten years old and saw Clint Malarchuk get his jugular sliced by a skate on TV, also in Buffalo. I remember Mike Robitaille screaming for the camermen to turn the cameras away. Nine fans in the stands fainted. Unbelievably scary.
