I reckon the last scene will be Cavill doomed to remain in the old dead universe, alone, with everyone else having "walked into the daylight".

Now that would be cool. I just hope we don't lose any of the final five in the end... I would really like to see them all get there.

Plus are all the Cavil's whacked? Actually do we see multiples of them anymore? It seems like he boxed the rest of himself.

So I got a hold of the Season 3 disk 3 and watched it yesterday, and now I am on track to finishing all of Season 3 before Friday. :D

I'm so glad I caught up, there were so many things that didn't make sense in Season 4 and now they are clear.

It is also interesting to watch things back to back, you get to catch some amusing things.

Great Ending. Best episode in a long time. I really liked how they wrapped up Starbuck.

The whole dream sequence involving the opera house and the CIC gave me shivers.

Was Jimmy Hendricks a cylon?

So... what the hell was Kara? An angel or something?

And why the hell did Adama want to live alone without his son?

And why the hell didn't Lee keep doing Kara once his brother went back to sleep? ;) Ok, that last one was a joke... but seriously, what am I missing with the first two?

I think Kara actually died and came back as an angel after she crashed on earth. Perhaps even three angels. One cylon and two humans. Baltar,Six and Kara.

As for the Adama father and son. They went their separate ways like it was in the beginning.

The good...

Saul and Ellen together at last. That was probably my favorite part. I always liked Ellen and thought that they were the true love story of the series.

Kara going poof... but the question remains, when did she know? What was she? As in, did the Baltar and Caprica ghosties gen her?

Helo and Athena making it through the end.

The bad...

Adama puking at the start...

Galen is just effed up... he needs to be alone

The damn drag... sheesh, forty minutes after the big event?

Adama practically spinning the end bit, sounded too much like Connor bidding his first wife goodbye... then again Galen probably started that mess... :p

So, like Apollo and Galen are dead ends?

Things that were meh...

Baltar and Caprica ghosties in New York...

Battlestar Galactica : The Plan

Did anyone else notice the bug in Kara's hair as she said goodbye to Admiral Adama?

I was also kind of sorry to see Boomer go the way she did. *snif* Its like losing your first love. *wipes a tear away*

Also the writer Ronald Moore makes an appearance with Baltar and Six in the present day.

Aaaahh ... a decent ending for a good show. :D

The action of getting Hera out was awesome, something about the humans and the Centurions fighting together was pretty nifty.

The Chief avenging Cally's death was a surprise, but something I knew was coming the moment they said they will know everything about each other (before the fear in what's her name's face).

Tying the loose ends and letting us know where the characters ended up was a good way to give closure, but it was sad to see Roslyn finally go. :( And sad for Adama's lonely life.

Kara ... well, that was a "what the frak!" moment. I was kinda hoping that her and Lee would finally be and stay together.

The Agathon family seems to be doing great, so are the Tighs, and I guess the Baltars. That was good to see.

I wanted to know what happened to HotDog, as I believe he was the last "character with a name" that survived but we didn't hear much about after the fight. Unless I missed him walking with his kid in one of the scenes.

Moore's cameo and the NY scene was funny, and I think he deserved to be in there. :p

*sigh* A great show, and IMHO a very good ending that does provide closure.

Now I look forward to The Plan for another hit of my favorite TV addiction. :D

Man.

I haven't posted in this thread before, but I've followed the show religiously from the start.

I feel good about the ending I suppose. I'm glad the wrapped most of it up, but I would have liked a little more clarity.

Is BSG The Plan just a one-off thing?

bittersweet it is, but I liked it.

Kara as an angel was great b/c unlike other features, the angel didn't know she was an angel until the end. Loved that writing.

i LOVED watching the old Cylons fighting the new ones. I thought that, as a true sci-fi geek, was fantastic.

I thought, as usual, all the CGI was brilliant.

I didn't really like the very ending where they stopped the song and went to black. It was already done with Soprano's, but more to the point, there wasn't a dramatic waiting-to-see-what-was-going-to-happen moment like the Sopranos. Six and Baltar were just walking down the street and I thought the entire point of being 150K years into the future and humans working on robots was made. Maybe the writers did it to honour the sopranos, but I didn't really care for it. It's not like that moment ruined the show for me.

In all, I liked how the writers gave us the nice happy ending, which imho, was tough to do b/c everyone has their expectations of what happy is. He wrapped up the main characters and gave closure to their lives.

One final thing I liked - unlike other features again, when they came to Earth, it wasn't in the future....it was the way in the past. Most shows I've seen seem to portray the sci-fi as in the future so I got a kick out of that.

Now i'll have to figure out what to do next Friday night! :)

While I wait for Caprica :)

Cheers,
Keebler

........................

lots of open questions and some unlikely events.

i can't believe that 38000 people agree in harmony to burn up their ships and live as cavemen.

all open questions are simple answered by saying caprica/baltar as angel engineer this whole thing. conveniently kara is then also a kind of angel.

anyway, i loved the idea that we're kind of an experiment that is repeated over and over. and were about to create cylons and screw it up again. but then there are surely a few humans left on new caprica. thats were the survivors of our future cylon war will end up and the experiment starts again. baltar is my favorite character, caprica the hottest girl. so i'm happy that they end up happy on earth 2 and as angels.

i'm also glad that the centurions get to be free and happy (as much as toasters can be).

hera is kind of a anticlimax. was she really that important? they (baltar/caprica angels) could have started earth 2 without her as well with some other kid as common ancestor.

adama ends up lonely but happy. i wish he had stayed with his son. that is more likely to happen.

spreading out humanity in very small groups is of course stupid because you spread out resources, but well....

so there is somewhere in africa a raptor. it's 150000 years old but the technology is very robust and maybe the FTL can be rebuilt. who joins me in the search?

It was an interesting ending. I was pretty satisfied. I liked Baltar's part in the finale a lot, and that he and Caprica were finally able to have a real relationship. I liked the general idea of the angels too, and how they were sort of whispers of real people.

Now I'm off to decode All Along The Watchtower so I can reinvent resurrection. ;)

Are you mad?? If one little girl can spawn six billion people, just how many Centurions are out there with their now super advanced technology?

Best we stay here I think.

the centurions know where we live. they come after us soon to free Asimo of Honda. if they do i don't want to be here anymore. i say we find those raptors and take off.

Can anyone tell me why the Kara was called the 'harbinger of death' by the hybrid?

And why did the six ghost tell Gyus (sp) that he would lead the humans to their end?
