Just downloaded the Christmas Invasion and I take back what I said. Apart from the ending it's a really good episode. Don't know how it's going to be explained come this Christmas when aliens don't invade...

So tell me Metal Zombie have you been a lurker for long on MacRumors and if yes why'd it take you so long to post to this thread because it's quite obvious that you have a superior knowledge of the Who world than say me (lifelong fan since the Pertwee days, but rarely ever watch an episode again after the first time, Genesis of the Daleks being the only exeption )

Iv'e been a lurker to this post and I had always often viewed Macrumors. I just don't like forums in general. I find there are too many people with terrible opinions, or awful social skills. That's why they're on forums!
Not you lot though...
The people on this thread are quite affable, but I agree that there can be people who you feel are acting like "cyber warriors" on most forumsMetal Zombie said:

I thought Army Of Ghosts was the best new episode they have ever done, so I'm crossing my fingers for Doomsday.
Oh and I forgot to mention how addictive forums are! My myspace account only lasted 2 months, I had to rid myself of it lol. I spent far too much time on it! As I am on this thread.

I'm usually d/ling the thing right after it airs, and watch it during the evening (my evening that is!) but there's still a several hour gap. Also, I'm going out tonight, so I'm not sure when I'll actually be able to watch it. Regardless, you can rest assured I'll be posting my thoughts here once I do view the finale. I was really excited aswell (like a kid), expecting it to be as good as the 1st part . It was excellent but alas disappointing, like nearly all the 2nd parts are. Some arsey points and notes:
1) Dalek "This is not war this is pest-control". Oh dear.
2) Dalek "You are only superior in one respect.. You are better at dying". Oh dear, oh dear.
3) Daleks aren't sealed inside their casing (see Dalek RTD) so why can't they touch the Ark (Dalek cases shield the 3) void residue presumably).
4) Funny how the Genesis Ark looks like Dalek technology (including the hand print).
5) The glasses (eh how does that work?).
6) Shame nobody told the Mill (CGI team) that the 3D glasses are blue and red (not green and red as seen through the glasses).
7) The Cyber Yvonne. Oh dear.
8) Presumably the void stuff is not in the void when you come and go into it (otherwise its not a void lol)
9) How are the clamps on brickwork/plaster strong enough to stop the Doc and Rose from being sucked in?
10) Pete catching Rose at the end was the best bit but how? (Do we care?)

The Daleks have had trans-dimensional science (bigger on the inside) for donkeys years. The Doc must have said the Ark is Time Lord science cos the Time Lords built it.
And where did the black Dalek go?..
