He was the foremost expert, next to ~Shard~, of course, on Doctor Who trivia and TV series.
He probably over stepped the mark as regard to MR rules, let it lie now and carry on with the Whoniverse.Sky Blue said:Read the last couple of pages and you will see that's most definetly not the case.

Ariel BBC Newspaper today --
CBBC is developing a spin-off series from Doctor Who based on the adventures of investigative journalist Sarah Jane, played by Elizabeth Sladen, and to be written by Russell T Davies. Sladen, who originally played the Doctors assistant in 1973, returned for the last series where she was seen vying with young Rose Tyler for the Doctors affections.

There's already Torchwood coming in the fall, and a K-9 spin off in the works. Plus, countless little Doctor Who special that are alongside the regular season.
I don't think they'd throw something else out so quickly without waiting to see if these other spinoffs can hold their own...
Sky Blue said:You're right. Just because the BBC announce they are making a Sarah Jane spin off, I see no evidence to suggest the BBC are making a Sarah Jane spin off.

I don't know I always kinda liked the Rani. Her TARDIS was cool, for one thing. I view her returning in the same way that I view the possible return of the Master if it's done properly with the right actor and right writer it could be fantastic.Sky Blue said:I really hope the sun are making this up...

Exactly, I hope they don't go down the road of a parallel universe or the void (I hope it opens the door for the return of the Time Lords and The Master), but how could that be done in a convincing way whether or not it's only the Rani coming back.Jaffa Cake said:Of course, if the Rani is coming back then that means the Doctor isn't the sole survivor of Gallifrey...

There's always the possibility that the Rani and her TARDIS (and possibly other Timelords/Ladys) managed to shelter in the Void, in a similar fashion to the Daleks we saw in Doomsday. Given that they were out of our normal dimension, that would potentially give a plausible explanation as to why the Doctor couldn't 'sense' any survivors. It just seems to me that rather than giving a way to include more Daleks in stories, the whole Void thing might offer a way for a number of Timelords to have survived too...dynamicv said:One thing I wondered about when I read this. Is it that The Doctor can't sense other Timelords or other TARDISes that convinces him he's alone? Could The Rani be alive but TARDISless?
