Missing order?
Hmm Apple store was down in the UK earlier this morning - now I can't see my Leopard order at all - the Order Status page is blank - is anyone else experiencing this?

I don't understand why Apple in Europe cannot guarantee delivery on the 26th. The previous two occasions it was the same for me. Panther, for example, took ages because Apple used some cheap delivery option and not a courier!
I know, it's a pretty poor effort on their part.
I posted to see if anyone else in England had the same expected delivery times as me. It seems that everyone in the US is going to have theirs on Friday.
Does anyone in the UK know if John Lewis will have copies on Friday? They're a fairly large Apple reseller, so if they do I will probably cancel my order and pick up a copy from them on Friday.
My order status page doesn't have an estimated delivery time, just estimated shipping on the 26th. I think it used to have a space for it, but it was blank.

Its a email from Apple in EUROPE so if it comes after the 26th i'll be on the phone to them going mental, as they lied to me!!!

Normally i'd not bother but it was in there NEWSLETTER and thats why I pre ordered and didnt get it from Play.com like i normally do!!
Got iLife08 from play.com 2 weeks after it came out a tenner cheaper than on the apple site lol...
Nah same, but when the Apple website has "Get it by the 26th" splashed everywhere and it doesn't arrive by then, then it will grind my gears.
Anyway, our order status still has 4-5 days to update so things may change as yet. I'm hoping it just a bit of lag on their system.

i've kept the email and I can't see anything on it or on the order page that alerts UK folks that u wont get it by the set date of the 26th!!
You get a T-shirt if you're one of the first 500 to be in each Apple Retail Store when they open at 6pm. I'm planning on going to the party to try and get one.
1. How early are you going to be? 4ish?
2. What do you mean by party? Isn't it just standing in a long line for a few hours waiting to buy a disc?
