I got my german beer, but can't watch the game on TV, because the kids are playing there and I feel bad turning on the TV when kids are playing.

But I follow the game on the internet.

Need to check for an internet radio station. EDIT: found one, yeah!

Video? Not of this match, unfortunately. Just the ones they're broadcasting terrestially... like tomorrow's semi-final, the one I'm not so interested in seeing of course.

What an amazing game... the best match I've seen in years...

And what a great result... so much for Italians being too defensive!

Props to the ref too for letting both teams play... and well done Germany who played a great game too

That way I won't watch the final, but watch the game for third.

Only one thing I say in Italy's favour: you needed some good news in football, I suppose.

Italy and Italian clubs (.....) have always displayed the most boring football.

Now everyone is on Italy's side????

I've been on Italy's side for the whole tournament (one of the 6 or so who voted from them in the MR poll) but they really opened it up this game and went for it - just as they'd said they would try to do. If the reason behind not wanting Italy to win was a fear of 'boring' football, I think that game should show that Italy can make the game beautiful too.

Like I siad. One match. Whoopdeedoo.

For the rest it is usually pretty frustrating watching football matches involving Italy or Italian sides.
And I am going to have a hard time not letting the phrase "corruption" get into mind when I see Italian football.
Good thing we won't see Juventus in the CL coming season.

BTW, I know you did favour Italy all along, so congrats to you.
 
The game of football is about winning, it is not theatre or the silver screen. It is a results based game. I see quality in defending and tempo control, others might see "boring italian" but they are very successful.

Winning is winning, and the Italians are good at it.

If only the english, dutch and spanish were better at it they might have more than 1 world cup between them.
 
Okay. Italy it is in the Final vs. ? Right now I don't know that anyone would venture a guess. I'd put France but don't want to jinx them. Germany didn't just lose their match. I thought Italy beat Germany today and there's a difference, though not on paper. Pretty impressive win and congrats to the Italian side and fans.
 
wow that was a great game....i wonder how germany got so far but they lost in the last 2 minutes. oh well, beats brazil's performance.
