So what's the general feeling among Birmingham fans about the whole takeover business? Yeung didn't inspire a lot of confidence in me from what I saw of him, although obviously that's as an outsider looking in on all this takeover talk.

It looked a fantastic deal to start with, but he just vanished, screwed up on Steve Bruce's new contract and turns out he was getting the money by floating his company on the HK stock exchange. so now pretty glad that the Gold brothers and Sullivan are staying on. But on the plus side, with him screwing up the Bruce contract it means Bruce left and we got Big Eck.

I'll see your childish and raise you downright immature by getting you to giggle at the name of their old ground...

And I'll see you downright immature and get you to wet yourself laughing at what should be Aston Villa's new ground

should this be the new Villa ground?

Guessed you were a freak as soon as you mentioned Man U. Still, won't hold it against you, welcome. :D

Just a quick question, are you English and live in America or an American? reason I ask, not that many Americans in to football.

HAHAHA...American living in America but wanting to live in England!!!

Anddddd it's been called off.

Lots of news today, Champions League and UEFA Cup draws, United - Lyon should be a good game, United sign a new Angolan striker and David Beckham to train with Arsenal.

Thats an astute move, I must say. They'll learn a lot, I promise.

Everton is coming to town! :)

I moght just have to drag my sorry ass to Brann Stadion... where I've been maybe 5 times in my life... for this one.

Now, how to fit into my old, medium sized Everton shirt... which on top of my XL sized belly also have to cover a couple of layers of wool because it might be a tad nippy out in mid-February...

We demand photos of you in said shirt, just to make sure it's sartorially appropriate. ;)

If it doesn't fit, how about donating it to a worthy cause, like poor out of work manager Lawrie Sanchez? He was sacked by Fulham earlier today...

It's a good job you're not a Liverpool fan. With you being Scandinavianish, combine that with an ill-fitting red shirt and you run the risk of being mistaken for portly midfielder (and former rubbish Hull City manager) Jan Molby.

That just doesn't bear thinking about...

Toooooo late. :p

Yeah, not a surprise I don't think. Billy Davis? John Collins? Santa? Me? Jaffa Cake?
Well, Billy Davies has been linked with the vacancy at Hibs, Santa is otherwise engaged at the moment I believe, while I'm in talks with the SFA about the vacant Scotland manager's job. I'll keep you posted with how that goes. ;)

Collins seems the obvious choice for Fulham though. Didn't he resign from Hibs the day before Sanchez got the boot from Fulham – Collins' former club, of course? Seems quite the coincidence, that...

Nah, he'd moan about the fact he hasn't got £100 Billion to spend on ***** Spanish players.

What about me? :p I don't want it anyway, waiting for Capello to get the sack.

Yeah, I think the BBC put 2 and 2 together as well, we'll see soon enough.

You're lucky I wasn't drinking at the time I read that cause I would have spat it out onto the screen. And I would be expecting you to clean it up.

I watched the first 30mins of the Blackburn-Chelsea game...the Rovers looked pretty good, and I'm surprised they were held to a clean sheet.

Bendtner's header in the Arsenal-Tottenham game was class...can't believe Keane missed the penalty.

We edged Everton 2-1...boys looked jaded though - no doubt too much partying at the Christmas shenannigans

Anyway great win and another Ronaldo double! :D Coming for yer gooners!

It is true though. ;)

Well..

:D

.. kind of sums up the feeling at the moment.

Same here, looks like it could be a good Christmas period.

Blackburn we're very unlucky, woodwork twice and a couple of decent saves, real shame.
